Before I was born I didn't exist and it didn't bother me. After I die I won't exist and I don't think it will bother me either. My body will proably be burnt or maybe rot in the ground....doesn't really matter.

I believe we live our life over and over ad infinitum within our minds when we die. Who is to say that whoever reads this isn't just reminiscing that I wrote this?

That doesn't make sense.

If someone doesn't want to go to heaven, shouldn't they have a choice?

Hell is the choice.

Of course "fire and brimstone" and all the descriptions are a way of making it colourful (and threatening), but that distracts from they key theological concept.
Well I suppose in heaven you would have the freedom to choose whether or not you feel the plesure of heaven so that doesn't matter. Of couse only one in a trillion people wolud choose this.

I have absolutely no idea, but I'm working under the assumption that I'll be raising the daisies for all of eternity.

I don't anything will happen after you die, expect for the decay of the body. The "soul", or the mind of the person is gone, forever. There is no heaven or hell or in between, just nothingness.

If theres 'somethingness' and 'nothingness', which would be heaven, and which hell?

Dare I say that depends on the time spent in the state of nothingness/somethingness? To live an eternity, even if it were a heaven of some sort, indeed nothingness would then be preferred.

Nothingness is painless
it brings on many changes
and I can take or leave it if I please.

;)

It just stops...

BUT it would be great to think there is something after... but i cant logically think anything does.

Thats why thinking logically is overrated when it comes to things like this.

According to Dante, Limbo is the first circle of Hell, where men who have been otherwise virtous but haven't accepted Jesus/God into their lives will go. It is not nearly as bad as the rest of Hell, should be a peaceful and tranquil place, though tinged with sadness because Heaven is still out of reach for its inhabitants.

Bluemofia about 6 years ago when someone asked me this question said:
Umm, under the ground?

That view hasn't changed.

My body will definitely rot under the ground. But I don't care about that.

If there was nothing before I was born, then there will be nothing after I die. I don't care either about that. In that case it will be "a quiet sleep without dreams". What is there to be afraid about that?

If there was something before I was born, then something will continue living. It will not be "me", but it will be a part of me (or I will be a part of it); I will just hope I have used my time correctly. But definitely the heaven/hell stories are very childish for my taste (especially the "hell" part).
