AB negative, rarest bloodtype in the world. Wonder if it's something to be proud of.
Actually no there are some blood types that are extremely rare, such as some rare african blood types and a few indian and European ones that are present only in minority groups. These are mostly antigen incompatabilities but some blood types have been given letter classifications of their own because they are so rare.
African American Blacks - U- and Duffy-
American Indians and Alaskan Native peoples - RzRz
Pacific Island peoples and Asians - Jk ( a- b- )
Hispanics - Di ( b- )
Russian Jews - Dr ( a- )
Whites - Kp ( b- ) and Vel
I'm A+, fairly common.
AB+ people can recieve blood from any one, but O- can recieve blood only from O-
So AB+ is the universal reciever
and because anyone can recieve O- blood it is the unversal donor.

I suggest you donate blood if you can.
Not true actually, AB- can recieve wide variety of different blood types A-,B-, O- and of course AB- so they're usually hunky dory for blood stocks here.
O+ oddly enough and A+, B-, and A- I believe are the blood types banks most frequently run short on. This is beacause O+ is very common and widely used and the same with A+, the other two have less potential donors. But oddly O+ and A+ often are in the greatest demand with O+ being the worst needed blood because most O+ people don't donate out of the perception that their blood is so common that banks don't need it, that's exactly why the do of course, because they use it much more often.
