I looked at this thread in the hope that it would be an ironic comment on the pointless "Which is your favourite European country?" poll, but alas I was mistaken and it would appear that you are all taking this kind of nonsense very seriously. How can you possibly rate a country if you have never lived there, even for a short amount of time? Apart from those who have served around the world in the armed forces, there will be very few posters here who are actually qualified to make such judgements. You may have been on holiday to both Canada and Mexico, but the very fact that you are on holiday means that your experiences of these countries are biased. I mean, who really goes and seeks out the slums and the red light districts when they're on holiday? (That's a rhetorical question ) Even when you live somewhere, you may not actively seek these areas out, but you will be aware of their existence and they will influence your perception of your country.
Can we please stop judging countries on nothing other than prejudice?

It is impossible and rather incorrect to pass judgement upon an area of the earth as large as North America.

Too many people and varying cultures.

There are good and bad people all over the globe.
