What is your political views?

Anarcho-syndicalist with Marxist, Chomskyian, and Trotskyist leanings.

"What about human nature?"
If everyone is naturally bad, how does it help anything to put them into power, and give them control of nukes and stealth bombers? We've seen what happens when you do that, and it's not pretty. Although, I disagree that humans are as inherently bad as the guys in congress and the White House. I think most people are decent human beings, and I think people would be even better if they were given not only given the chance to be better, but if they were put in a position where being a decent human being was essential to day-to-day activities.

"How would such a society defend itself?"
In general, such a society won't need to. It's much harder to claim you're liberating a country when the country is already as liberated as it can get. If it really came down to it, the US army is currently the most powerful in the world, and it can barely handle a population of 26 million people. How would a less powerful army handle an even larger country?

I love you. I can't believe that I am saying this... but I agree with you on every single one of those.

However, to convince everyone that I am not a drone, I would also throw in that right now, I am on the fence for immigration, with a good argument having the potential to sway me any way. I would also like to see marijuana and prostitution legalized, and the FCC burned to the ground.

And maybe one day, a flat tax. [/dream]

I consider myself a Capitalist: I only intrest myself into affairs of economics.

Well, I don't agree. In other tests, I've been an authoritarian/right leaning centrist. Oh well...

I'll try another one.

EDIT: Ok. I took another one and I was a heavily leaning Libertarian/right centrist. Kind of the extreme edge of the centrists. Sounds more like it.

Left of center. I would say floating around somewhere between the NDP and Liberal Party of Canada.

I view political ideologies (ex: Socialism, Conservatism and Liberalism), economic theories (ex: Monetarism, Post/Neo Keynesianism), foreign policy theories (ex: Realism, Liberalism) and all other similar beliefs to being imprisoning of the human mind, if they stand alone as a fundament for one view.

Instead I advocate a rational policy-making, that sets feelings aside in order to obtain an objective view on all cases. I want politicians to base their decisions on experts and researchers advice, instead of some ideological belief.

I do realise that humans are not perfect, and that feelings thus can never be set 100% aside. However that doesn't mean it shouldn't be the goal. Although we can never achieve it, the process in trying, will result in a fairer and more rational policy.

I also support a consesus decision making, instead of polarized politics. That way developement will be stable, and extremists (which I view as the worst kind of people, no matter if they are left- or right-extremists) will not be able to gain power.

edit: Feel free to ask me questions on my beliefs, I will be happy to answer them. :)

i would say im centre-right but i have strong anti-EU and immigration feelings. Im not religious at all but i think gay adoption/marriage is wrong. Most importantly i think there should be devolved goverment for each part of the UK but the Union should remain intact.
