We are studying Blade Runner at school in Media Studies. It's very odd.

Read the book of the film 'Do androids Dream of Electric Sheep?', It'll clear up a few things, and it's better. Even though the film is quite brilliant.

I saw Chronicles of Narnia today.
Eh... whatever. Unimpressed by it; i don't hate it tho.

I saw Glory Road yesterday. I didn't like it, it was a cheap Disney version with extremely cheap basketball scenes. I give it a 3/10.

I saw Saw 3 yesterday. It was the most gorey of the Saw series. I thought it was pretty good, yet a bit different than the first two.

i saw that POS in a cinema. it sucks the big one.

im watching stephen kings the stand again and its not bad, but comparing to the book it is.

The Cable Guy isn't that bad if you realize that it's not a comedy, but a dark comedy. Jim Carrey pulled it off perfectly. I think a lot of people went to this movie expecting to see Fireman Bob and Ace Ventura... But that's not the way the movie goes at all.

I hated it the first time I saw it. Saw it again a few months later and it was better the second time around.

Matrix: Reloaded and Matrix: Revolutions.
I did not like them (well i had seen them before, but sometime ago).
The worst part was when the brooklyn prophet went on to "explain" that everything metaphysical was "exiled programs", with vampires, hallucinations etc all brought into the same category. That was a very poor script :/

The original Matrix was somewhat better; at least it did not include so many utterly childish ploys such as the antropomorphism of the programs. A french program and an indian program  why exactly were they french and indian? did they actually form a view about french and indian civilisation? not really, they just were moneygrabbing cliche programs :p

Generally everything in the Matrix series is full of holes, and as such the series is of very low quality.

My Bank holiday weekend viewing:

Sunday: Ozu Yasujiro's Tokyo Story
