I saw Jesus Camp yesterday. It was excruciating to watch. However, it was interesting. If anyone has ever said that Jesus Camp paints Christians in a bad light, I don't see how. There is next to no commentary in Jesus Camp. It's essentially just a bunch of clips run together from that female pastor's camp. One of the things that pissed me off is when she said, "ok, let's pray in tongues," and then she prayed in English, and then prayed in what sounded like some other language, which definitely looked to me like she just made it up.

Thank You for Smoking. Utterly hilarious, with some great performances, especially Aaron Eckhart as the main character.

It almost made me pick up smoking again. :p

I bought Xmen 3. I'd seen it before but I own it now and had to watch it again...

Great movie, I hope there's a fourth.

Yup, really cool, even tho i think the 2nd one was better.
With that ending there will surely be a 4th. :)

Jackass II, one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time.

Zidane, un Portrait du XXIème Siècle.
(Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait).

Excellently postmodern :D

School for Scoundrels. My wife and I didn't understand why it was called that, but whatever. Decent movie. I'm really starting to like Jon Heder.

Saw THe Black Dahlia last weekend. What a waste of money....

So did I... awful. I also saw the Trailer Park Boys movie, which was a huge disappointment. The TV series is far more nuanced, edgy, and has more sophisticated/subtle humour and detail. Not to mention that almost every scene in the movie was rehashed from the series. It just didn't translate to the screen (different camera angles gave it a totally different feeling too) and was poorly written for diehard fans IMO. We didn't want to see the same old jokes again, we wanted a more potent version. Instead we got a watered down film with a totally different feel (no detail).

I just saw the finnish-chinese collaboration Kalevala-Wuxia movie
Jade Warrior

A couple of my friends were working on that movie - director and editor :)

I saw A Knight's Tale yesterday.

That movie had great music. It was pretty awesome overall I thought.

I like the way they melded Classic rock with the medieval times. I was at a Ren fest a couple of weeks ago, and they had a small area where people were doing some dances from back then. Told a buddy of mine we should start playing Golden Years and see what happens.

Just got around to seeing Napolean Dynamite. I don't get what all the hype was about. It was an okay movie, but I felt like I was watching some random person's life.

The Queen, very good.
