I just watched The Magnificent Seven last night. It was watchable but didn't hold a flame to The Seven Samurai (the movie that inspired it).

The last movie I watched on the big screen was...Accepted, I think.

I saw "Revelation" a movie made by Rai Uno about John the Apostole's last days on Patmos.

I watched Rocky 4 last night :ack:

I haven't seen it since I was a kid, and I remember I kinda liked it.

well, not anymore, it's just horrible, IMHO

and that robot-butler thingy is the height of the sillyness

Over the weekend I watched:

Mad, Mad, Mad Swords (martial arts spoof)
The Wild Angels (We wanna be free...to do what we wanna do)
Hells Belles (another biker flick)
Count Yorga, Vampire (cheap & cheerful horror)

Watched The Downfall: Hitler and the End of the Third Reich again from DVD.

Bruno Ganz performance as Hitler is good as it gets and the film in overall is quite magnificent in all it's aspects.

Recommended for anyone.

Judging from the Das Boot avatar you are quite into WWII movies. I recently watched `Napola` it is quite a good movie. Recommended.

Also I watched `Orphans`, a Scottish movie. I had high expectations because of Trainspotting and Shallow Grave however it was average.:(

:bump:

I just saw Final Destination 3 - nice :D in a Happy Tree Friends kinda way.

I just saw Requiem For A Dream. Excellent movie! The beginning is just ok but the end is great! The movie is tragic and makes it message clear.

I can only watch the movie once every 8 months or so..it really affects me...

Saw THe Black Dahlia last weekend. What a waste of money....

Click

Adam Sandler is great actor, film has got to be one of the best I have ever seen. Really good.

You know that theory about watching a version first means you like it better than the seeing a film later, well guess what it's nonsense, The Seven Samurai blasts the magnificent seven into pieces on the good film scale. Seeing The Magnificent Seven and then The Seven Samurai some years later reminds me of how much of a pale copy it was.

Seen Yojimbo, the originator of A Fist Full of Dollars? It's the same deal.

The last movie I saw for the first time was The War of The worlds, it wasn't bad. Not great but worth watching.

Well, I liked "The Ring" better than "Ringú", even though I'm iun the minority in that opinion, and I in general agree with what you said.
