I saw the second Pirates of the Caribbean film today.

I am utterly, utterly disappointed. No real spark, no imagination, and my love that is Captain Jack Sparrow just seemed...dull.

I did like Davy Jones though.

I've only seen the first one and i didn't like that captain at all, don't understand a bit why he's so popular ...

I saw "A Scanner Darkly" yesterday, it was swell in every way!

Was a while ago that I read the book, so some parts I couldn't compare, but it certainly felt very true to it.

I have seen Happy Feet approximately fifteen times since last Tuesday.

:sigh: And I was excited about giving that to my daughter.

300! I wouldn't see it if I were you. It had a pretty pathetic story line, accompanied by intense graphic violence and gore. I'm sitting there with my older sister, and I'm like "this isn't something I want to expose myself to." So we walked out halfway through. Even without the gore, they really didnt develope the characters very much.

I'd rate it 1.5/5.

Did she make you change your avatar also?

Twilight Samurai

I saw "The pursuit of happyness" yesterday.

One of the best movies I've seen. All those without children might not feel the same but as a father I got really moved by that movie. It got me a little "emotional" specially when the kid says to his dad : "Dad, You are a good father."

yea, too many people got excited about the historics of that moovie.

I just saw 300. It only came out on Thursday over here in Australia. This makes me mad that we have to wait so long for it to be released here. No wonder why so many people pirate movies so the can see them when they first come out.

Uncle Buck

About 300:

IMO if a movie is about a historical event, it should be more realistic than a bunch of orcs against 300 oh so brave and handsome hoplites. Would be better if Persians wouldn't be monsters.

I saw TMNT and 300.

TMNT is pretty good, it lives up to TMNT II Secret of the Ooze but not as good as number 1 but better than III. As for 300 i hated it, i walked out in the middle, totally inaccurate portral of the battle and of spartans.

Do you guys really tought 300 was going to be a historical accuracy?

come-on ..... ITS A MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!! stop whining about the innacuracy in the movie, ITS A MOVIE.

it was good action and fun. If its historical accuracy you want watch the history channel

I watched Children of Men earlier this week. I actually liked it. Very interesting movie, I would recommend it to you all. (Not to be watched with small children, of course - it's definitely rated R for a reason, with plenty of violence, cursing, and brief nudity.) It was kind of a sad film, but it was still very interesting.

300 is based off a comic book, not the event itself.

I saw Borat a while ago. It was a bit entertaining, but not enough to gain the internation fame that it did receive.

 I just watched this last night. Very cute movie, but I think I'd be feeling ill having to watch it that often.

Fortunately she hasn't watched it in a while.

My oldest did the same with Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Took me years to see that movie again.
