Frenching the Bully by The Gits

It's to my everlasting regret that I never saw The Gits play live. For a long time after Mia Zapata's murder I couldn't listen to them without crying, and I threw them out of my life for many years. I felt bad about it, but I just couldn't deal. Lately, though, they've been finding their way back onto my music devices, and they're just as good as I remember. I think I'd have to find a place for "Second Skin" on a playlist of essential punk songs, if I were to make one.
