I ran into this while looking for South American EBM, starting point was Gusano which may or may not be Bolivian. We clearly need @Takhisis to sort out the whole continental scene there. I'm interested in local trance as well as these bands seems to have a distinct sound.
Not that I don't welcome good stuff NA either.

Nolongerhuman - Memoirs

I'd need more information, given that I've been spending my time listening to Hedningarna, the Fergadioti sisters, and some synthwave instead of whatever what you're mentioning is. And, of course, the soundtrack of Civ when I've been playing it.

The last I've played regarding trance is, actually, Sienis.

I was expecting you to present some tiny list of local EBM & trance artists, sythwave would be awesome, too - top 500 would already be something to start with, nothing too labourous. Hedningarna isn't needed as I already know how to dodge them.
I've for years hunting on YT for these but the task isn't easy. Occasionally I hit a longer DJ set with tracks listed but then I hit a wall trying to find those names. The world of music is unfairly messy.

Aforementioned

Gusano - Self Implotion

After a very quick look(?) at Sienis I can already say that this is superior to Hedningarna. Much appreciated.

Let's put another oldie from one many Graves' projects.

Necessary Response - Forever

and I've always thought that he has lots of similarities with Shear, even in remixed form.

Assemblage 23 - Disappoint (Funker Vogt remix)

1981...that's ancient, hmm, that has to be nearly a decade old now. Oh, how the time flies.

1981 was also the year New Order from the ashes of Joy Division releasing Ceremony, a JD song but next year was the time for proper NO stuff. It was excellent then & still is.

New Order - Temptation

This is even older. The year was 1980 and Moscow held something resembling the Olympics.

OMD - Enola Gay

In the spirit of Terx (PBUH), Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance may be the most memetastic game in a memetastic franchise*, but the boss music is the finest crafted poetry this side of Undertale:

There's a particular beauty in that this song is not a celebration of the character associated with it, but instead a dirge. This is not a triumphant battle theme like Jetstream Sam or Monsoon, but instead a complete and utter deconstruction of Khamsin as a pathetic, servile individual. This is not the battle anthem of a warrior, this is the song of a man who has committed unspeakable evil for reasons he can't even name, completely suckered in by years of propaganda, and he's about to die for it. This is him explaining his life to his killer, not boasting of his prowess.

He was a nameless, faceless goon enacting the whims of empire, he was told he was fighting for peace or justice when all he did was butcher innocents so the rich could get richer. Khamsin was someone sucked into the military-industrial complex and turned into a monster, whereas someone like Sundowner or Monsoon ALWAYS had that evil inside of them and simply had a chance to indulge in it.

Something totally different from me.

The Highwaymen (Nelson, Kristofferson, Jennings & Cash) - Highwayman

and the local version. The theme is the same but far from literal translation.

Kääriäinen, Marstio, Mustajärvi & Sorsakoski - Mä elän vieläkin

and then the Spinal Tap moment of weirdness. The artist is also known as the better half of NIghtwish's frontman.

Johanna Kurkela - Rakkauslaulu (studio live)

She has seen life from both sides now. Newport folk Festival July 24, 2022.
