With some companies patches/updates frequently breaking saves and Steam making it hard to avoid updates I often play offline.

Crusader Kings II doesn't even need to be played through Steam, so I have maybe 18 hours recorded for multi-player and the like. All the other time over the last seven years has gone unrecorded, like tears in rain.

For what it matters, I'm using Playnite instead of Steam. Though it can import the play time from Steam.

Origin is garbage. My account on there gets hacked weekly by Russian hackers no matter what I do. I got to the point of creating a garbage email address and an auto-generated password and it still happened. Every other site and service is just fine. Origin? Leaky faucet.

Which is annoying, because their free game offerings are usually kinda good. And I have to go through Origin in order to play Spore because of the weird CD key system it has.

Mary, how do you stay invested in the Sims? I can only ever enjoy myself for maybe 10 hours before I'm done with it for a year.

I like Origin much better than Steam.

When I play the Sims, I probably spend 80% of my time in Create a Sim or Build Mode. I also have pretty much all the expansions, so there's lots for my characters to do.

It was cracked and pieces of plastic had come off, but it was fine if I was careful. But then it suddenly just snapped apart when I was closing it.

Nintendo isn't doing repairs for them anymore, either. Only the New 3DS XL. And broken hinges aren't covered under warranty, so I'd have to pay a bunch of money anyways.

I like Origin much better than Steam.

We are no longer on speaking terms.
The only reason I debased myself to get an Origin account is to play Dragon Age Inquisition.
The less said about U-Play the better.
