Go to the Civ3 forums and ask around.
Oh, I'm not by any means claiming to be the first person ever to discover this video, but I have scoured CFC looking for information about (winning) the Conquests, and never saw any hint of this.

So 'discovering' it for myself, kind of feels like the Aussie-soldier easter-egg in Tomb Raider III (South Pacific: Coastal Village level).
Spoiler Details :
In the end-of-level cutscene, Lara meets him in a treehouse and he gives her a map to cross the swamp safely to the next level...

Obviously that part can't be overlooked on a normal playthrough. But earlier on in that level, he can be heard shouting from the treehouse ("Oi! Sheila!" "Hey!") the first time Lara's near it, but only if she's manoeuvred into a very specific position.
Stellalune didn't/doesn't mention this in her walkthrough (although she confirmed that she did already know about it, when I wrote to her), so it was a nice surprise the first time I encountered it, in an otherwise familiar game.

I've been playing a little bit of House Party lately. It's a weird little game where the object is to make flippy floppy with various women at a party. Sadly, the protagonist in the game is male, which is harder for me to relate to in this case (though I don't usually care), but it's still pretty fun and the graphics are good. It's an interesting diversion at least.

Oh God !
This house party ?
Spoiler for language and boobs at the end.

Looks interesting in a trashy way, but I think I've extracted all the fun the game has to offer from watching videos and reading reviews.

FTL is kind of shallow and most of the replay value comes from the extreme challenge.

Path of Exile

Going back to respec my older Templar character, I had a sudden epiphany: Ancestral Bond, which lets you summon an additional totem at the cost of dealing any damage yourself, blows like a hurricane. Four Arc totems + three Armageddon Brands = Mayhem and destruction, human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria! And loot flying through the air like confetti on VJ Day. This was on the end-game maps, btw, not the story chapters. I couldn't keep my Meat Shield Animated Guardian alive against the boss monsters, but I guess that's what Meat Shield Animated Guardians are for (I do feel like Animated Guardian should be better than the other minions, since it's so much more work to re-summon).

I find the oddest things when sorting through my video folder. :twitch:

Just seen an offer on Sid Meiir's Railroads, Railroad Tycoon II Gold, and Railroad Tycoon III together.
Back in the 90s I used to play Railroad Tycoon and it was great but I didn't like Railroad Tycoon II. It was like the difference between a toy train set and a model railway (and I much preferred the toy train set :D). Anyone played Railroads or Tycoon III and are they the sort of light, uncomplicated railroad building I'd like?

I played Railroads but don't remember too much of it. I think there was a sandbox mode if you're interested in that.

Railroads is light. The intro even shows it as being like a toy train set. There's no stock market or anything complicated.

I played with the sandbox mode more than the campaign mode. I just liked watching the trains moving around the map. (I'm rather easily amused.)

I have the disc but I think it uses SuckyROM/SafeDisc which stinks.

That's the one. I have no pride.

Well, I would blame you for wasting money on something that shallow, but like Synsensa and Aimee, I do in fact own a copy of HuniePop. :D

Wait, when did I get a copy of it? :crazyeye:

It was heavily discounted just last week on GOG, I think it was. You certainly wouldn't want to buy it on Steam. :p

(I will also point out that I own lots of dirt-cheap games on GOG, so that is clearly not an admission of guilt...)

I didn't even know it existed until this week.

If you say so. :)

I used to subscribe to a YouTuber who played through terrible (and not-so-terrible) adult games on cameras for laughs. I'm fairly sure that she played through both of those in her time.

You can watch Markiplier do a pretty extensive playthrough of HuniePop, if you're curious to see what the gameplay is like. As I said, it's actually a decent Match-3 game.
