@Prof. Garfield and I have started up a new match of our scenario, Over the Reich. It's a scenario for the Civ2 Test of Time Patch Project that takes full use of lua scripting. It depicts the Allied Combined Bomber Offensive against Germany from 1942 - 1945.

As the lua scripting has changed the base game so dramatically, we are both posting "Let's Plays" on YouTube to try and help others learn the game. We have a gentleman's agreement not to look at the other's videos while we are playing, so as to maintain a fog of war, but you can all find more information on the scenario (including where to download it) in this thread. We'd love to see you try the game out as we've been working on it for a very long time and are quite proud of how it has turned out.

Not following. Are you saying that it took a direct hit with a grenade to make you have a thought?

Meanwhile, I'm in game number four of Fallen Enchantress. First two were very short sacrifices on the altar of learning how not to start. Third one was given over to learning just how freaking long a campaign this is going to be. I played a long time but then recognized that I had not really gotten very far and that my opening choice of king and kingdom really didn't fit the way I wanted to play at all. So, looking at a very very long path to trod I opted to start over with a custom leader that is a better fit rather than continuing to compromise with what I had chosen.

Now I'm ready.

Just look at the precise trajectory of that grenade, what are the implications ? Aimee is clearly a natural straight-shooter, her brain works overtime to calculate the ballistic trace of that grenade, even including wind conditions ! What can I say Aimee - You're a natural !

I agree the starting location is just 1 south .... (that way he can get advantage ofthe juicy flood plain he settled,wait did he just settled juicy wet flood plain ?!)
