Hmmm....I have my Civ IV CDs but no CD player in my new laptop to install them!!

Which means 'borrowing' an external CD drive or paying Steam for the privilege of another copy!!
Buy an external drive, then you'll always have a drive when you need one. I've got one from a 2005-ish Toshiba laptop-tablet hybrid, it services both my laptop and desktop.

If it's the no-DRM versions, you can also borrow a disc drive and make an ISO copy. This might not work for the DRM'd copies, though.

Good to see CFC moderators imparting valuable life skills. :p

My job constantly interferes with my video game habit. It's very annoying.

Good to see that Lemon's priorities are in the right place ! :)

Then you need a better job!
I landed a job last week for late February/March. Am I doing things right?
Will that work even in Linux?
I haven't had to try that, because GoG + Windows XP (the old partition that still stands from when I first installed Linux) or GoG + Wine works.

It's just after the New Years party ends , so it's alright ;)

I have no intention of returning there even if you remove the Polish terminator that's lurking inside.

:trouble:

In Civilization IV, I just found out that if your population is unhappy because of overpopulation, you can just use slavery to sacrifice them to make buildings and that....makes them happy again?

When your neighbors get whipped out of existence and their corpses are piled up to make a building, surviving the event is a valid cause for being happy.

Also suddenly cheaper real estate is available? Maybe this is part of Apple's 2billion dollar plan to fix California real estate prices?

Beatings will continue until moral improves.
