Hell, I had a whole bunch of mediaeval clothing for TS2 (and various Stone Age retextures as well).

I really ought to get around to finding a default replacement for these glasses, although part of me still thinks "but what if I find a use for them someday?"

Uh, no. Those you can safely dump. :p

In the Sims 2, a custom guitar glitched and got affixed to one of my testing Sims. It became a little bit awkward when ACR decided to do its thing.

I also installed Bonehilda! Well, a custom NPC of her anyways. I'm usually a bit nervous about installing NPCs because of their difficulty to remove, but this is a testing neighbourhood and I have backups. :)

Path of Exile: Found my first Vaal Outpost in the mines the other night. I'm still not very deep, maybe 70 levels down, so it was just a little, one-square thing. Still, there were stairs that led to down to corridors with those deep-red light discs, and of course it was wall-to-wall undead. Vaal Outpost + Cyclone = Zombie smoothie. :yumyum:

*grumbling to self* Why did I download a set of pottery converted from Skyrim? I don't have any use for it...

Also, the "write in diary" animation uses a....scalpel?

I don't think I've watched a let's play since 2013 or 2014 at this point.

trust me, that's a good thing. watching popular let's players always ends up making me feel either suicidal or homicidal. mostly the latter. there are good content creators though, but they're rare.

those are great fun and when they are in a cluster, great for loot. How many flares do you use in a Vaal city event? I’m still holding that ax for you, but I’m in St. Louis for five days so I won’t be playing until next week.

When I'm in Seattle I'm forced to watch Game Grumps and Jacksepticeye at dinner and it's not enjoyable at all. I had a radical shift somewhere around turning 20 when let's plays just became... agitating. I don't even watch streams anymore unless they're ASMR or by a friend.

I kind of think it sucks, because it was a really consistent and easy form of entertainment. I wish I could enjoy it again.

Edit: That said, I'm not hurting for media entertainment. I watch an ungodly amount of TV now instead.

There's a handful of Let's Players/reviewers I like, but in general I don't like them.

The only ones I like now are the ones that do it as tutorials to help with difficult parts of a particularly hard part of a game. It was through a let's play YouTuber like that that I was finally able to learn how to beat the "4th Survivor" minigame in the Resident Evil 2 Remake.

In other news I cam across a great review for Fallout 4 in YT space :

I haven't played F4 yet so I have a question if what he says is true ? Because I love it , it is both hilarious and informative :)

I don't follow.
There is a game called SuperTuxKart. It's a racing game. It has a lot of user-made content, most of which is just average, but if you like gorgeous visuals then there's a few very well-made tracks that are simply awesome.

The last time I checked the SuperTuxKart saved in my bookmarks, it redirected me to some weird spam site.

They must have fallen victim to squatters. This is their current main page. Also, I need to update the game.

I....think this wasn't supposed to happen.

Indeed. Why is the fire off in the second picture? Have you installed a no-flames mod?

Don't worry. It's just invisible.

(This actually is a glitch in the game. Under rare circumstances, using ivy trellis in your landscaping can cause invisible fires to spawn and Sims to spontaneously combust.)

So things not being on fire is a glitch.
