Oh. That makes sense. Makes him look kinda delusional, though.

Meanwhile, I was playing around with some config files in the first game and found an option to change the character player model. I had some fun with this.

EDIT: Now I kind of want a Geth squadmate. I don't know how well that would work out, though

playing Polytopia on my 2,5 hour train travel, well I was playing on normal difficulty it was like playing chieftain/settler's difficulty level in civilization. But the game concept is interesting especially the used of income per turn for research and unit, it has so much potential. After the tutorial I play with 2 AI and win quite easily in domination victory, after that with 3 AI (it can reach 9 AI if you buy the other civs, and it is pretty cheap) I keep being a super power from the start by spamming giants unit and expand rapidly. I cannot wait to increase my difficulty.

Now I know why Hob play the 30 turn time limit, because after a while it just a contest of (giant) unit, the technology is quite few and very easy to master and after a while your money pretty much accumulate so much. If the developer expand the tech, and add simple diplomacy (war, peace, alliance) the game will be much more awesome. However for a mobile game it is an awesome game that will occupied your waiting time (is that a correct word?).

I bought Audica off a recommendation from /r/oculus and it is an absolutely fantastic less-stressful alternative to beat saber. It's more my kind of dancing rhythm than beat saber's hyperactive flailing :p

Spam filters don't exist in the future, apparently.

Lemme know when you want to play some rounds!

The RNG on Pokemon TCGO is insane. I lost 5 coin flips in a row, went a few more turns and lost the next 2 coin flips.

It has begun. I have gotten jedi academy working again......still don't really know what i'm doing ....
edit: randomly jumping around while furiously clicking seems to work.

Game work the best like that, just look at Eddy Gordo in Tekken, smashing random things while jumping and ducking will beat the most careful and able player.

So keep up the good work!

I'm still a bit miffed I can only use pre-built decks against the AI in Pokemon TCGO but I just found out that when you win matches, they replace the useless Pokemon with their evolutions or other, better Pokemon. I haven't yet traded in a Magicarp for a Gyarados but my decks are getting better which makes them more fun to play with.

In Mass Effect 2 I barely scraped through the derelict Collector ship. That was super-creepy.

Spoiler :
I really, really, really hate the Illusive Man/Cigar Dude. His eyes are creepy blue like Saren's. I bet the Reapers indoctrinated him. My Shepard told him off for setting the trap and got renegade points. Apparently the paragon option was to agree with him. The morality system is weird. I also was surprised about the Protheans.

I decided to hold off getting the reaper IFF. I heard about something happening if you get it too early, though I'm not sure what.

Essentially, you have time for one more mission before things go sideways, so clean up all your sidequests before retrieving the IFF.

Downloaded Temple of Elemental Evil from GOG. Moderately fun, but showing its age. I actually played the 1st edition version (with a GM who liked 1st ed rules) about 20 years ago.

Thinking of getting Europa Universalis IV next.

That's what I was planning to do!

Something that I've noticed that drives me crazy: In a bunch of cutscenes, my Shepard keeps pulling out an assault rifle. My Shepard's an infiltrator. She doesn't even have an assault rifle! If they did this to cut down on the number of animations, couldn't they use a pistol or something? I think every class has a pistol.

I think it's because the assault rifle is the "default" weapon. I noticed that myself, especially as I spent a lot of time playing adepts and engineers.

It wasn't so bad in the first game because you actually had all the weapons (even if you couldn't use them very well).

Also, if you go to the bar at the Citadel and order enough drinks, you pass out and your squadmates have to drag you to the bathroom. Awkward...

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel sucks.

I wish it didn't, but it does.

I love 1, 2, and Tales, but this... is not a good game. The oxygen and gravity mechanics make it an absolute chore to play, and the complete lack of respawn points adds artificial time to the game. Especially when the cars can't seem to get any height whatsoever off of jumps so you fail each jump 2-3 times (and failure equals death, so have fun respawning far away or respawning somewhere that doesn't have a car spawn).

It's better than 2, it just takes getting use to. Stick with it a bit longer. The jumping gets addictive and everything gets easier as you level up. Eventually the O2 mechanic doesn't mean anything anymore because you are effectively able to hold your breathe forever.
