What would you do with $300 Billion and a mandate to make America more secure?

CIVPhilzilla and BasketCase probably have the best ideas for dealing with terrorism, IMO. That's basically the approach we need.

Well i would grant a 300 billion dollar development aid to new zealand.....

then as the prime minister of the new zealand i would buy us a pretty new military, instead of 2 frigates 10, get some fighterjets, some new planes and helicopters ect... so we are in a position to be able to **** up any pacific island we want.. but never would. Then i would pay off the student debt and all the rest of the money people owe the goverment. Then i would spend all the change on imporving health and education. Then with say the last billion i would bulid a giant tower in wellington 5 times larger than the proposed "freedom tower" and name it the "Jonah Lomu institute of Money" it will be great.

Then i would use military forces to strike particular installations in foreign countries where there is strong evidence of the prescence of terrorism (like training camps, caves, etc) but not engage in full scale invasions of those countries.

.... i know 3 posts in a row is a bit much but im just full of ideas.... I would spend 300 billion dollars on buliding the biggest fancist gold statue of jesus possible, He will make sure everything is all right.
