Had quite good fun tonight with a san miguel forllowed by a few stellas and then a couple of fosters and then a kronenburg with some shots spliced in betweeen(devil drinks they were-especially playing ring of fire with only 3 people!) all rounded off with a couple of coors (because i could)

Bud. Although I have also been known to enjoy an Alexander Keiths India Pale Ale (which isnt actually a pale all at all! I guess it just sounds good.....)

mind you, I prefer Red wine to either!

I would never buy Miller because they are owned by Altria - the same company that swore under oath that they didn't think that cigarettes were addictive or caused cancer. I just don't trust them to make a safe product, but I dislike evil corporations on principle.

No. Miller was bought out by South Africa Breweries (SAB) several years ago.

Anyways, all the beers in the poll suck.

I wish this poll was public so I knew who was a real man's man besides me and drank Coors.

It was me, I voted Coors.

My favorites

domestic: Fin du monde, La maudite, Hart, Blanche de Chambly, the Montreal homebrews, Keith's India Pale Ale
imports: Boddington's, Guiness, Hoegaarten (sp?), Leffe, Kilkenny, Tsing Tao, Sapporo

Real men drink whisky. Straight. :p

I don't drink whiskey unless I have some urge to vomit uncontrollably the entire night. :p :vomit:

I don't mind whisky straight, but add a little water and it makes it much nicer. Nothing like having a reasonable bottle of whisky around, even if you do only drink it once a fortnight or so, after cringing at the cost:(

Then my point is proven ;)

Though the same is true with me and wine, though it's slowly getting better.

I can chug wine endlessly without a problem. It's really the taste that gets to me with whiskey.

With wine it's the aftertaste that hits me. So I can't tell if I'm in a wine drinking mood until a good few seconds after I've started drinking.

Whisky depends on the brand, though I'm hardly picky. I can chug it endlessly without a problem :p

Well, I can tell you that any time I hear the name Crown Royal spoken, I start to feel nauseated.

Wines an acquired taste, start off on sweet whites and then move onto reds, there are plenty of mild mannered ones out there as well as the more full bodied ones, if I'm going to drink spirits which also agree with me, I'm afraid I drink Kentucky Bourbon, I fear I may have lost a friend for life ;):D Scotch is nice but I prefer the flavour of whiskey. They say as you grow older though you get more of a hankering for Scotch so I'm still waiting :)

I agree. I aquired the taste, liked it then did the most horrible thing in my early wine-drinking days...

I had red and white on the same night...

So I have to start from stage one, otherwise I throw up almost immediately. :(

I've like wine since the first time I drank a glass. Never had to acquire the taste..

Yeah! :yeah:

No seriously, when it's a quid a shot before 11 the manly thing to do is buy 4 shots and down 'em straight:) Pleanty of times I've done that!
