When did feminism go completely crazy?

Why should that make anyone happy?

Its a blatant smear against men and a fallacious argument.

(the idea that men are happy about women dieing that is)

I forgot, death ends her potential cooking & cleaning career. I stand corrected.

Nobody said Rosie the Riveter should have been a cook or cleaner. (or if someone did, they don't speak for me).

Anyway from my understanding, wasn't Rosie the Riveter meant to support women doing factory work in world war 2? Factory work is crap, women should become things like accountants, lawyers, managers instead. Factory work gets paid crap. Although for the time that the 'Rosie the Riveter' Campaign was relevant, it was better than nothing.

Rodger you have said alot of ridiculous things on this thread.

But that is genuine spite towards people you disagree with/

I hope you are not trying to paint me and others as actually thinking that - Or that's why Democracy is in trouble.

I actually really hope you are just trolling to get a rise out of people to be honest and are not being sincere.

There is nothing a women should be just like there is nothing a man should be. People are what they are. But yeah, factory work seems pretty crappy.

You're not exactly covering yourself in glory by linking to blogs called feminist brainwash and dismissing most people as crazy and undeserving of the vote. In fact you've done very little except call people crazy, which is quite a slur. It it seems to be that you are not even being able to credit that people can be wrong (i.e. that they can hold alternate viewpoints, possibly for valid reasons), if people think differently than you then they must be broken.

Anyway Valka D'Ur

Just a quick message: I am "worried for democracy" because of what people on this thread have said; elevatorgate is just the icing on the cake. Thats A subject I may go into later.

There is nothing wrong with that.
I did not see that video. Please have a look at the one I posted.

For the umpteenth time: Yes, he was wrong to say what he said - not because of the words themselves, but because of the circumstances when/where he said them.

If you'll permit me a friendly word in your ear:

You really, really need to start appreciating the absurdist nature of much of Mr Roger's posting.

Otherwise you're just going to look foolish a lot of the time, imo.

Until you get used to his style, which is amazingly sophisticated, you're probably best off not responding to anything he says. Still, feel free to ignore ME and carry on regardless.

You know, the more this discussion goes on the more I truly believe we should give feminism as a subject the Tom Petty treatment. Which is to say, no is allowed to either bash it or support it.

Just don't bring it up. Both sides of the feminism date have really and truly proven they can't handle the maturity to discuss this at a sensible level. There are a few individuals on both sides that have been reasonable- but most of it is just mudslinging.

It detracts from CFC OT quality which otherwise would seem more reasonable.

Yeah, even I was laughing that he actually used "feminist brainwash" blog as a valid source.

Yeah! I give in. Tell me what I should think on this issue. Right now. I'm fed up to the back teeth with not knowing.

If any of you think Feminism is crazy, take a look at the MRA's; some of whom believe in legalising rape on public property; that most rapes are false, that believe in voting not guilty for all men accused of rape (jury nullification) regardless if the evidence shows they did commit said act, that women are "sperm jackers" etc.
