Got nothing against the English. Just King George. I never liked him. Love the rest the English but dislike George.

Which George? We've had six of them. Although George III was the most important of all of them, and arguably one of the best monarchs of modern times too, apart from that madness problem. George I wasn't much cop (he was very rude to Leibniz) and George VI would have been OK if he hadn't had such a dreadful wife...
There's no rule against resurrecting ancient threads, but it's generally considered rather annoying (because people think it's an interesting new thread when in fact it's something ancient from the vaults).

They choose to display the oldest threads first? I dunno, when I first came here I too checked out the old stuff first, it helped me alot when the regular members would say something like " Oh yeah, it reminds me of THAT LH" or "this unit is much better than the old version"..

It's the 3rd that I don't like. He had war after war after war and used brutal methods to try and suppress 2 of the revolutions. I can't see how he's so popular after the atrocities in the 1798 revolution in Ireland. Basically, his policies ticked alot of people off and his acts in response made it even worse. And seeing how he was responsible for losing all the colonies, I can't see how he's so popular. Same with how much he raised taxes on his own people and despised the postion of the Prime Minister. Simply put, I just don't like him.

We lost "all the colonies" after the 2nd world war...

I have been thinking to make a George Washington. But no one ever requested him in the leaderhead elections I used to have. And I don't use America on my standard map.
But if there was a huge demand, I would look in to it. I would have trouble with the suit and wig though.
A fine George Washington was made by ccm01 about four years ago

I would love to see (and use of course ) a new animated George Washington. (Teddy Roosevelt would be high on my list too, playing aggressively with the Americans would seem very much in character with him somehow
