This question came out from the top of my head from writing my ideas out for my final speech for my final exam in Public Speeking. I have looked in several resources to compare and constrast between different diets (My topic is on the Atkins Diet). I am curious what kind of diet the CFC community is on.

For background information on the different types of diets there are. Please visit http://www.dieting-review.com/ for more information.

I don't really diet, certainly not commercial diets.
If i decide to, I cut down on sugar by eating bread instead of biscuits, water instedad of fizzy drinks, and drinking lots of water during meals.

I don't need to diet. Unlike what many overseas people may think, not all Americans are fat. ;)

I am 6ft, 160lbs, I better not diet- but I am of the opinion of "smart" diet and
plenty of excercise! ;)

I don't diet... I eat what I want when I want, but I run 3 mi. a day and lift every other day. Works out well for me so far, 5'7'' and 137 lbs. I know, I'm short, you can't make any jokes I haven't already heard. I'm dead inside....

I'm on the eat how much you want of whatever you want, as long as you top off with a sandwich before you go to bed, diet.

Edit: To conform to the stats trend of the last few posts, I'm about 1.88m and 66kg (roughly 6'2" and 145lbs).

Dale Jr. Diet. from those KFC commercials. (I eat what tastes good)

I don't diet.

The real answer to weight loss is not a particular diet, it is what type of metabolism you have.
Do you have any sources for that? I have it on tolerably good authority that the proportion of people whose metablism differs from the norm enough to noticeably impact dieting etc is vanishingly small.

(Ironically, I sorta suspect I belong in that minority.)

dont diet. dont need to. 5-9 135 pounds and still growing. If I play soccer and unlimate frisbee almost every day, and work out for marching band this summer, I'll still be in great shape

The eat right, and dare I say, excersize diet.

I don't get to call other people thin very often (when my brother, but that's gone real old now), so I thought I'd take the opportunity:

You're frikken thin, dude!

There seem to be lots of skinny people around here... does that strike anyone else as odd considering how much time we spend in front of computers?

IME, geeks tend to be thin in general. I don't presume to know why.

I think it's more the age demographics of the people who post here. Most here are young, and younger people tend to have a higher metabolism than people who are older.
I too used to be able to eat all the time, and anything I wanted when I was young. Once I hit 30, those days were well past me, and if I continued on with those eating habits, I'd probably weigh around 400 pounds, instead of the 160 I'm at now. :)
