Last night I got her to switch a couple times but now she refuses to switch!!!!!

Spinning silhouette lady is such a harsh mistress. :(

I did it!!!!

She's going counter-clockwise now!!!!

Now if I could only get her to go clockwise again.

Clockwise, and only with real effort did I get her to turn anticlockwise. Now I have a headache. :(

Clockwise it is. Absolutely unable to get it otherwise. And I did try several of the things suggested.

Right handed, but left footed, and regularily engages in non-linear thinking as a professional survival skill.;)

It was clockwise at first, but I got it to switch back and forth by staring at her planted foot for a few seconds.

Clockwise. I can't see any counter clockwise at all, or really anything to confuse/cause an optical illusion.

I can see it both CW and counter CW.

Good way to see it going other way: look at the shadow for a little time, and for me it suddenly turns!

Right handed and I can't get her to spin any way other than clockwise...

HAHA!

After realizing how to make her switch the direction of rotation, I wondered if I could make her switch without completing a single rotation.

And it worked.

She now 'skips', as in she is 'facing' me the entire time. However, the spinning leg does not remain the same; it switches from being the left leg to the right leg and back. It's hard to explain. She takes a half-spin clockwise, then a half-spin counterclockwise, then a half-spin clockwise again, and so on.

I'm done now; back to physics. This has been bugging me for two hours already.

It's really strange, because an overwhelming majority sees her spinning clockwise, thus using their right side of the brain more.
So using your right side more is not related to you being left-handed?

How the heck can anyone see that thing as going counter clocwise? Look at her hips..

Well blow me, I stand corrected.. suddenly the . .. .. .. .. . decided to turn around. :crazyeye: This thing is driving me nuts..

EDIT: I think I figured out how to make her turn. Scroll all the way down so that you only see her feet and lower legs. Then you'll notice that once she "skips", her feet get all wrong. The animation is faulty, so that neither clockwise or anticlockwise is 100% correct. When looking at her feet it's easy to see.

I don't think this is accurate at all. I was seeing it CCW and only CCW, until I stopped looking and then I saw it randomly, sometimes CW sometimes CCW, this time being able to change it. I think it depends a lot on how your mind is conditioned before. If I only imagine that she is spinning CW before looking, I see it spinning CW.

Anti-clockwise. I can't make it go clockwise for the life of me. The lady's not for turning :(

Cool!
She's spinning clockwise for me, but switches direction if I tilt my head upside down :crazyeye:

Ok... only way I can see her spinning anti-clockwise is to open up Animation Shop and start at frame 34 and go back to frame 1 :p

clockwise, all the time.

That`s weird, tests have always said I`m more of a left-braineside person.
Maybe it`s s.th. to do with being INTJ (T = analytical sounds like a left brain side function, N = intuitive sounds more like right brain side). Not sure if that explanation makes sense :crazyeye:
