Yes Abaddon.. I still remember your "the Cross and the Rood." My first NES... and still one of my favorites considering even the short amount of time I had on it... enjoyed the play-style very much.

I'd love to. However I am a terrible writer, and useless at managing battles fairly.. :/

I need to come up with something fairly easy to moderate, and I'd do it (The Rood had ~20 players and was too much for me!)

Hmm.. maybe you can set a limit this time? First (whatever number of players) get to play? That is, if numbers was the main downfall. And I'm sure the split factions/religions, etc, could still work with about half that number of players..

Also, I thought the writing was well done. It's what interested me in the first place... for battle management, I really can't recall how I felt things went along battlewise so I have no say for that. But even the diplomacy was pretty cool.

It's just a number of people in your nation? You're legitimate manpower is that number times 10,000.

The less you have, obviously the less military forces you can recruit, the less money you make, the less production.. etc.

Super mods are a group of mods that were selected to perform two functions: provide forum wide support for other mods and to review all rules and practices and suggest changes to the admins. A recent survey in OT was the first effort of this group. I am involved in a review of the infraction system and a couple of other things.

As far as I can figure out women have roughly the status they did in the early 1820s when they had begun to rebel and there was a backlash against them in society but before they had begun to reap significant rewards.
Regardless they were not subjected to as restrictive clothing, employment, legal justice, female circumcision and etc as men in a conservative Muslim society.

It's a fairly brutal practice, the milder form removes the lips of the labia and narrows the vaginal passage while the more extreme version excsies the clitoris compeltly thereby denying women sexual pleasure and making childbirth an extremely difficult and painful process because of how much the vagina is narrowed. It's most commonly practiced in Africa, being a tribal social tradition not a Islamic one, particulary West Africa, Egypt, and so forth.

I've been doing consistent weekly updates in GalaxyNES...

I suffered from what I call NESing overexposure.

A few updates come at the same time. Excited, diplo ensue. Then i get bored.
I surf the forum without stories and without orders.
Deadline here! Send rushed and orders that any NESer but a rushed one would be ashamed of!
Blame mods for a slow update.

My plan: Free time and no RL? Write short stories with simple characters. It will color a NES and gain interest. Stories are like love. The more you give, the more it multiplies and soon the world is covered with tales of woe.
