This community needs a board of members and a president. Elected at intervals to help keep the community regulated and organized. Push for the change of things and development of new ideas which are agreed on by the mass and of course to do the rest of the things. I think it should be and would seriously help keep everything updated and overall better.

To provide das with his expectations, I shoot the idea down for two reasons; the first being that I agree with Josef on its infeasibility, and the second being that I happen to know I am the person being inferred for the position by Luckymoose:

And I resent this for several reasons, not the least of which are that it would not be a "Presidency," and for all my efforts to reorganize things to my liking (for my sake--not yours; I am only interested in the rest of you tagging along so as not to irritate me too greatly when I must deal with you ), I am not some messianic figure here to lead people to glory by any standards. Significant change on a personal level that is not forced comes internally. Nobody here has the power to force anything on others, and never will. Thusly relating back to the first point, the idea is a bad one.
The best that can be achieved is an influence by example, which is wholly different from some ridiculous political office and requires an internal motivation to strive for excellence both for personal benefit and that others might follow suit, not to mention likely vastly more productive.
Symph, you're a great player but Luckymoose's open worship of you get tiring. Suckling on greatnesses tit doesn't give you greatness, it just gives you dry mouth, unless the greatness is a lactating woman, in which case it give you milk. But I really can't imagine Symphony being pregnant.
