While We Wait: Part 3

Bingo, tho you are obviously a good neser, and in theory here from the start, your hiatus among other things denys you the "eliteist" badge.

#Edit: Sorry, slight typo above, i meant "elite" silly me

I agree with erez. The Ebro, Thames, Oder, and Elbe are all good candidates.

Ugh.

Symphony, perhaps you should break your own rule and post there to make it clear that this sort of posts should go elsewhere? People won't get it otherwise as they might not figure to look here until later.

They might; but the request map thread is far more appropriate. Just so that they know. ;)

There shouldn't be two threads with the same idea. Should be one thread accounting for all map needs.

No. If you ever spend half an hour searching for maps because the thread is filled with spam, you'd understand why.

I like the idea of a thread will finished, ordered maps alone

You're creating this "eliteist" class in your own mind, Abaddon.

@erez, symphony's thread is stickied, therefore it gets priority :p

Glad to hear it. Elsewhere in this thread i suggested that is plausible.

Actually this board has a very complex and strict class system it goes something like this....Everyone else, then Charles Li....

TBH the lack of elitism on around here is why I've managed to stay around for so long.

I was actually a defending him in a weird way... I don't have too much a problem. Then again I've never been a mod having to work with orders.

Thank you on your view. I think:

It's simple: If he posts bad orders, make him do lesser good. But don't ever mock a person like some of you did.

In any case, I hope he gets his orders in for BirdNES.

Personally i did not allow him into my NES, I did not want all his random OOC posts cluttering the thread. I also did not have the desire to bother deciphering his orders (tho alas some others do send orders not far above kindergarten level)

I still can't believe I got an award last time for BirdNES orders-wise. I mean, I didn't even think they were that good. Everyone else's orders always seem to be sprawling 2-3 PM monsters.

I guess it was like a breath of fresh air, or something?

But as for Charles Li, while I do admit that he ticked me off mightily in the beginning, we should give him a chance. I think Nukey's improved a lot. I mean, sure he doesn't always spellcheck his updates, but I think he's gotten a lot more legible.

If you foster him enough, I'm sure he'll grow into something majestic. :)

I'm still waiting for that to happen with me though...

why am I getting nothing at all in feedback and/or sign ups for my NES? usually, the thread gets a few post recommended that it not be used, or a furry of sign ups. so far, I have had 2 confirmed sign ups, and one question. nothing else?

please, if it is bad, or just sub-par, may I get some feedback to improve it?

Having just written 1.5 PMs of orders, and knowing full well how annoying reading them can be, shorter ones tend to be blessings.

Your OP is pretty poorly written.. also such a fantasy setting usually struggles to attract playeers.

Ain't that the truth. That is why I want people to feel comfortable not going that extra mile or three in LuckNES V. I don't feel like spending four hours reading the books some people write. When most of the time it isn't even needed.

For BirdNES my orders so far have been pitiful.
