So, Lindsey Graham is Luke Skywalker, James Carville is Jean-Luc Picard, and Obama is Spock. I'm guessing the first female President is not going to be Hillary, but is in fact going to be Ellen Ripley. Bill Richardson is also going to try and go for the William Adama look in the near future.
On the subject of Sci-Fi, something interesting I just learned: no system in the Dune series that is named is farther than 1300LY (and that one much farther than the others). "Padishah Emperor" indeed.
