While We Wait: The Next Generation

Do we still have an alternative history thread going? Have had a few ideas on it, and not just the political and military aspects of history.
Yes, there is one going. There is always an alternate history thread.

'pull a Coolidge' is officially entered into the NESing vocabulary.

So I really want to redo my Price of Power NES sometime in the near future; especially since I have been playing with this new way of doing businesses-economies-technologies in my head. Nonetheless, I have to admit a third restart on this NES might be kind of boring for a lot of people, and I don't even know if there would be sufficient interest. To see what people think, I've decided to draw up two new maps. One of them takes us 115 years before the first Price of Power to just before this time line's version of the Seven Years War. The other map takes us 35 years into the future from my original NES with most of the colonies based off the map drawn at the Berlin Conference in that game. Whichever era has the most interest (if any of them) will be the one used. I should also note, all maps (Including the 1865 one should a third restart be decided) are all subject to changes.

Well, I'd prefer you dont do the 1865 one, I'm sick of it, but any of them will do! :)

Awww, you never took account of my cunning plan to invade Norway. :(

Actually I'll consider it. The less countries, the less stats I have to do.

Japan looks pretty static from a quick perusal of the new map. What happened to all my totally excellent ideas that never got started because of the NES's early demise?

Well none of those orders are around anymore and what was done was mostly based on what I had direct evidence for. (Things that happened in the last never posted update, saved AIM logs, and and maps from the conference on Africa).

Don't fret though. I did give Korea to Japan in the end, even though Feanor (I think it was) was pushing hard for it as China as well. Just be thankful you didn't get colonized by California ;)

Earlier the better for moi.

I prefer more modern NES' as a general rule, but I like the 1750 map more. I'm really content either way.

FRANCE!!!

Hey, Bomb, do you mind if I continue continuing my continuation of your NES? Or should I stop now?

If I end up doing a majorly improved version of mine, you should probably stop. But I think I need more feedback on if mine would do well. Sp if you want to do me a big favor, and you wouldn't mind, could direct people from your NES to here so they can see my different starting maps and rule set?

Alright, redirected.

If it is one of the latter two, I'd be interested in resuming Jerusalem. Not too much interest in the earliest, through.

Will those who played in the earlier NES have the opportunity to continue playing as their nation that they were in the first one?

If so I vote 1750... long live Britannia!

Retroactive deletion.
