Technically, it is, but as said there are also English sources that use it (though maybe it just seemed so to me; still, you do get some results if you google for "battle at", so that partially proves my point).

Yeah, I mean if I was going to criticism das's english (from a position of weakness myself), I'd go for the overuse of "either"

And also the semicolons. I generally (another word I use way too often) tend to overcomplicate sentances, both in Russian and in English.

True, one could use "battle at..." but not "Battle at..." It's the fact that this battle is now a proper noun that requires the use of "of".
