Who-2 Keith goes to the Moon.

I see it and will sort it out tomorrow,

I took it before you, Whomp, since you had left for a week. We're back on track, now.

Monty is mad because our best friend, Roosevelt, asked us to cancel all deals with him (just Open Borders). Monty was already annoyed with us, iirc, so I figured having one great ally and one enemy was better than having an annoyed and a cautious.

The Scientist did not generate enough beakers to finish Printing so I have to change research to PP and run full bore to get it in four turns.

Can't tell what direction I took here other than to get us into the thick of the tech race and get some infrastructure and a couple of garrison troops built. There is another Scientist due soon. And there are dyes coming from Persia so we can build more theatres for the happy effect if needed.

Good work Bede. I tried to stagnate growth too but rushing the citizen was a great idea.

We needed to get back in the tech game. Astro gives us the opportunity to trade freely. Weird thing about astro is all the AI seem to convert to mercantilism about the same time. Maybe we can get some war activity going with Monty to get everyone out of their civics.

Ah lazy day. I got it.

OK well I set up a defensive pact with America since Monte's caravel was lurking around. I tried to draw him in so we could get a nice little war going overseas but no dice....he decided to leave. Researching physics got us two more techs in trade. I also renegotiated some deals since some civs had excess cash flow. All were renewed for bigger cash. Confucianism was spread around so we get some happiness from that. We are still a little light on health in some cities so I've tried to balance shields and GP points.

There's a great scientist ready for something to do. Rifling may be an option(forgot to check so worth checking before the turns) or we could join him into one of our really scientific cities. Beijing is not it.

Caravels can only carry non-military units - so there's no need to get paranoid about them. We want to research as fast as we can, so the scientist should go towards Rifling, if we can't trade for it already. Rifling gets us two techs from Rocketry, which is our springboard to the stars!

All of the local towns have gotten the Confucian word so we can think about spreading it elsewhere for the added couple of gold per turn per town. Though since we lack the shrine it may not prove really worth it, and so best ot keep the hammers at home in the form of Cavalry. Buying Combustion and then Flight when it comes up would be a good idea so we can put down some oil wells and train Gunships instead of cav.

I forgot to check, but I believe we are now at tech parity again.

Only Kaifeng does not have Confucianism.

Guangzhou will get another GPerson in 2 turns, most likely a Scientist (72%). Rocketry is due in 4 turns.

I highly suggest revolting to Freedom of Speech and Religion, but I think we should wait until Broadway finishes in 8 turns (the capital is getting like an extra 75% shields from two Civics). FoS would give us lots of gold (each Town gives an extra +2 gold) and FoR would help our relations with the other civs.

Great work IP. How do we get Monty to declare....

I know SW is in full on feast mode so I'd say let Eldar play the save today if he sees this unless SW posts otherwise.
