I would move the capital SW to allow the flood plains to be split up. It is hard to use this many flood plains to their fullest. 4 or 5 is nice, a couple more can be good, but when you are getting up around 8 or more, a little variety would be better, and 1 city just can't take advantage of them.
After founding the capital 1SW, I would have figured out how best to split the flood plains up for 3 more cities in addition to the capital. Having 4 or 5 flood plains makes a city very versatile, and you could have 4 such cities. I would much rather have 4 very strong mid game cities that might not be quite so superior in the late game than 2 more or less equally strong mid game cities that would eventually be a little stronger in the late game. I think this is the biggest problem ... you could have 4 very strong well fed cities very quickly, but you settled for 2.
And as far as having a little overlap, that is ok. It won't be an issue until much later in the game, and at that point, you can still max out the tiles worked by 2 of the cities, giving you the same 2 super cities, and still the other two cities will be quite a bit above average.
