Why do most Italians/Italian-descendants I know talk so loud?

Pretty straightforward question here that I am asking, based on personal observations and experiences.

Has anyone else noticed that Italians or people of Italian descent talk louder and laugh louder than people not of this ethnic/nationality group?

I notice this also from Spanish/Hispanic/Latino descent, especially from Hispanic females. But I don't know why eather. Something to do with the languages rooted in Latin? I dont know :shrug:.

Its evolutionary. They had to talk loudly to be heard over the sounds of mafia gun violence.

I notice this also from Spanish/Hispanic/Latino descent

This is due to the constant rolling of the r's in the spanish language. It tends to enrrrrrage and cause loudness of voice.

From what little I know from personal experience, it seems that Hispanics and Italians come from a much more open society. So, I suppose they feel much more at ease being loud and waving their hands about.

They want to be the center of the events? Or maybe some of those mediterranean-descendants love their own voice so much that they want it to overcome all other sounds in the vincinity.

As a person of Italian Heritage, I find this word to be as offensive as an African American would find the N word. Please keep this in mind when slinging racist slurs at people of different ethnicity.

Also since I don't know how to quote multiple posters, I have a similar protest to Adamb0mb who said something like "its to be heard over mafia violence" - This is also offensive, not all Italians are in the freaking mafia. If I ever meet the creator of The Sopranos, Ill break his freaking legs (LOL, Kind of ironic to say that.....) that show does nothing but stereotype Italian Americans.

If Im gonna stereotype Id say big families (Italians and Latinos) higher noise levels = Louder voices, so you can hear each other over the kids racket.

Jesus what a nightmare, a day of hard work and then coming home to a whole bunch of kids yelling and screaming. I could not do it.
