Why Do You Hate The Byzantine Empire

I see the Byzantine empire as the continuation of Greece instead of Rome. Roman culture has been influenced by Greece since its conquests of the Balkan peninsula. The roman traditions were followed only for a few hundred years (Justinian era) after Rome's fall. Eventually the empire even changed its administration language back to greek.

Romans used Greek all the time in the East. Hell, they even coined in Greek, with Greek-language titles.

My avatar explains enough about what I think on this 5 year old topic.

Anyways, if the Holy Roman Empire ended up as Civ in the second expansion pack of IV, than the ERE will probably get it's shot again for V in some expansion pack. And if it doesn't, well, that's what modders are for. I'm sure someone will take care of it.
