Why would you vote Hillary Clinton?

It's probably a NYC/beltway media thing. Remember how Giuliani was supposed to sweep into office, and he got creamed at the start of the primary season? Or how McCain was completely unbeatable but went down in flames? Odds are good the same thing is happening to Chris Christie and Hillary Clinton.

Or how Hillary was inevitable in '08? :p

I don't think a populist or progressive Democrat can win a general right now. The Democrats had a huge opening to go Leroy Jenkins on Wall Street in 2008 and we got Obama, who won with the healthy support of Wall Street and who was extremely cozy with them once in office (thanks Larry Summers!). Many credit his stunning surge in his first primaries to his insider edge on what was going on in the financial crisis, which was because he had big name friends on the inside of thr crisis helping him.

Warren just will not enjoy that sort of money or coziness with thr establishment machine; she would fight a two front war and I think she would lose. Barring another in your face economic catastrophe that can fuel her narrative, however.

I'm not so sure, I think she could win in a base-turnout election especially if the GOP continues to misstep on things like immigration. She's actively campaigning in West Virginia and Kentucky right now for the Democratic Senate candidates there, if she's successful in bumping them up it might give her potential campaign more credence.

But then again, she's been much more adamant about not running than Hillary Clinton and her obvious shadow campaign going on right now.

Or how Hillary was inevitable in '08? :p

Yet another good example. Or how much focus was on Cory Booker and how he might be a potential VP candidate after the special Senate election. Or on Andrew Cuomo as the second-tier frontrunner if Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden don't run, despite his massive problems with the left and Democratic interest groups.
