Heck, it's a lot cheaper to go to France to import some cases of your own than to purchase from aBritish supermarket.

Although exports remain the primary engine for Ireland's robust growth, the economy is also benefiting from a rise in consumer spending

Quite observant of SN ;)

German beer is the only beer that deserves the name. Or beer made in other countries copying german beer.

Irish beer is heretic, and don't get me started on french beer(they actually drink beer with lemon and ice!)

I've never seen that.

When I asked for beer in my hotel's restaurant, in my very first night in Paris, it came with lemon and nice. I aksed the waiter if that's how they drink beer over there, and he said "yes". So I didn't ask for more beer during my whole stay in France, so I guess I could be wrong.

But anyway, french wine is so good that I would not waste my time with french beer.

Well, don't tell that a Czech ;).
But I would agree with the assessment only Czech and German beer deserving the name.

I never drunk Czech beer, so what I said may be unfair.

I guess I'll have to drink to find out ;)

I thought Irish loved Guiness!?! One of my history teachers is Irish (born in Ireland, not Irish-American) and he spends alot of time drinking Guiness with another Irish teacher.

The Czechs must know their beer pretty well since they have the highest beer consumption per capita in the world followed by the Irish.

You have to. Don't dare post about beer here again before you've tried out Czech beer.

I think I know where I can find some Czech beer here in Rio.

In fact you just gave me an idea for something to do tonight

Portuguese beer is the best!! :joke:
I don't know (I'm only 14!) but my dad says that the best beer is Bud
