I know that there are dozens of WW2 scenarios out there, but since I'm updating my old Civ 3 scenarios for C3C I had to make uptade this one too.

This scenario has at least two unique features:
-While most WW2 scenarios start in 1940 or 1941, this one starts in September 1939, right after war was declared
-It uses a very nice map, the Scipius Africanus World Map adapted to C3C by me.

I changed many things from my old WW2 scenario, and I believe this is much improved.

This is how the world is divided:
-Germany(and Italy)
-South Cone(Argentina, Chile and Uruguay)
-Eastern Europe(basically Greece, Poland, Czechslovakia, Macedonia, Latvia)
-Soviet Union
-China
-United States
-Japan
-France
-Central America(and Mexico)
-British Empire
-Iberian Nations
-Scandinavian Nations
-Low Nations
-Andine Nations(Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia)
-Brazil

Suggestions welcome, and enjoy!

PS: If you don't have Conquests, you can try my WW2 scenario for Civ 3. Click here

This scenario won't load on my computer. It gets to "Configuring scenario" and just stops.
It may be too large.

Well, from looking at the biq file in the editor i can see why :eek: :eek: :eek: It's a massive map of the whole world (i think about 256x205) :eek: :eek: :eek: Depending on your computer it would probably take about 15 mins to just load the thing, but it looks great otherwise (the first WW2 I've seen on a whole map of the world) :goodjob:

I'll try to post some screenshots :)

As for the Loading Time, Dease is right. The map is very big, with tons of cities and unites. It takes around 20 minutes to load the scenario in my computer, so a bit of patience is necessary to appreciate it :D

nice scen, but it needs some editing:

NAMING:
Gerogertown --> Georgetown
Kalingrad --> Königsberg / Kaliningrad
Odesa --> Odessa
Detroti --> Detroit
Madera Islands --> Madeira Islands
Chegdu --> Chengdu
Anshan --> Mukden (far more important in that time)

PLACEMENT:
Königsberg should be German in 1939, not Soviet!
Stalingrad should be one tile north
Saigon should be one tile southeast
Kuala Lumpur is much too far northwest
Nanjing one tile northwest
Shanghai two tiles north
Warsaw west-southwest
Prague is completely out of place there

well yer have to make the other nations besides germany human playable...

You can do that :)
Just load the Editor, go to Player Properties, and select the Civ you want to play with.

Nevermind, I got it to load, now the problem is that whenever I take a city the game freezes and I have to start over, like one time I took Paris (first turn) and it froze, next time I took one of Eastern Europes, and it still froze... any ideas to help?

After you capture a city it's normal to take some time before the game resumes.
If you're computer is slow, maybe this time will be big.

Other then this, I have no idea on what might be causing it. I played the scenario many times, on different computers, and experienced no problems.

1-I believe Germany lost Konigsberg after WW1, but I could be wrong here.
2-You're right
3-You're right
4-You're right
5-You're right
6-You're right
7-You're right
8-Are you sure?

I'll make the necessary changes in a future 1.1 version

1 (Königsberg) - I believe Germany lost Konigsberg after WW1, but I could be wrong here.
These maps are from 1929-1936, but in 1939 there were only new territories added, so everything you see on these maps was still there in 1939 ;)
Map of Germany 1935, very detailed, clickable (German)
Detail Map of Eastern Prussia province 1935, from above map

Yes I am. On your map Prague is situated southewest of Kiew´s real position, while in reality Prague is some 250km south of Berlin.

You can trust me on those comments about German geography and history, for I am German and I think I do know about those things ;)
