Worst Beer Ever?

An Army buddy searched out wierd beers, and came up with ione called Milwaukee Brand. No Milwaukee's Best or Old Milwaukee, Milwaukee Brand. Brewed in Waukee New Jersey. Yes, really bad. Worst mainstream beer? For me, Budweiser. Worst German beer? Pfungstadter, brewed in Darmstadt. Never liked it.

Natural Ice has to be up there. Any American Lager or Ice Lager really...

Except PBR.

I can't remember which microbrew it was from, but at my first beerfest I tried a beer that tasted like dish soap. Terrible.

Aside from that, any lager from a big macro brewery - Canadian, Kokanee, Bud, etc. To be honest I haven't tried all of them, but I have no interest to.

None of those beers are actually worst or even close to it. Travel to Phuket, and drink some of that swill they make there using formaldehyde as part of the brewing process. Yeah, thats bad stuff, and makes you feel like you wish you had died the next day.

Hofmister was so bad they killed it.

My brother used to drink "Blatz" when he was stationed at Fort Riley back in the 80s (I think 80s). I would submit that as possibly worst.

No way, I think Löwenbräu's pretty decent!
It tasted really really sweet - like they put a ton of sugar in it. With each sip you could feel something sticking on your throat. But we drank it anyway (all 5 1.5liter bottles). Most of us puked at some point after, all of us had a type 6-7 on the bristol stool chart the next day. We checked and it wasnt even expired. (that would'nt have stopped us from drinking it anyway)

Also Tuborg is ok. And Heineken is meh whatever but not bad.

Old English is the worse beer ever.

It's only saving grace is that it is 8% alcohol.

A few weeks ago I played Edward 40 hands with Old English ....... mand that was a night :cringe:

It's better than other malt liquors though.

College taught me many things. Among those lessons that I count most valuable is to avoid Steel Reserve and Milwaukee's Best at any and all costs.

It's all horrible, here is an old post on the subject from another forum:

Thats odd, I can't remember it beign like that:crazyeye:

I've only had the stuff exported to the UK.

heineken I get occasionally when i'm at the pub and just want a typical larger.

I had a different Dutch beer in a bottle that looks just like Heineken.

There was a number in the name of it ...... like something 88 IIRC.

Like a Heineken, just much better. ( and I like Heineken btw).

If anyone knows what I am talking about, try it :)

I can vouch that Steel Reserve is just plain awful. Tastes terrible.

However, the person who said earlier that Old Milwaukee was the worst was slightly in error. You cant drink it near room temperature or even just a little chilled....but if you drink it ice cold on a hot day, its not actually that bad.
