Would Teacher like a cookie?

Or Lennon.

tsk tsk, I was not praising this kid, I was saying I understood why it (perhaps) did what it did - kids are kids. It is normal that they try to buck authorities. But it stems from exposure to too many Hollywood movies that Americans seem to think a 3-year-old is just a miniature adult.......

Maybe not 3 year olds, but you should meet my four year old. . . :mischief: He thinks the parents around here are my wife, myself, and him. And he has an older sister and two older brothers. You should see him boss them around. . .

I have a miniature adult who looks like a three year old. :ack:
While I'm eatin at night, in the kitchen he is able to get the food scraps that I throw under the table. If my midget is ever mad and acting enraged, then he's taken to the bathroom and locked in his cage. And if he ever acts up and really makes me sick, then I hang him upside down and poke him with a stick. :yeah:

To address the original post and the article, the kid in question was not 3, 4, or 5, he's in 6th grade --more than old enough to understand this was wrong. In the words of Darkshade, he hasn't been turned upside down and poked with a stick enough. :p The discipline of this youth has been left up to the school. He deserves his just reward.

Who knows, maybe it was a cry for attention. But it would be a mistake to pat the kid on the back. Discipline short of flagellation would be fine.

6th grade means she's a little kid still, but should know it was not a good idea... has anyone here an ionformation whether she perhaps CHECKED fi the spray was poisonous before she did it?

I do not think it is such a big deal. Dumb mistake, give her a good tongue lashing and that's it!

Yeah, I actually own a bottle of the very stuff. It's called Bitter Apple. Essentially it just tastes/smells like alcohol or hairspray, but it's totally safe. If the kids owns pets, she knows that.

I use it to keep my cats from licking plastic bags and scratching things they shouldn't scratch. Apparently it doesn't work on all animals, but is usually effective for dogs and often effective for cats as well.

Of course, I also pour it into my manservant's coffee when he gets out of line. "PPTTTHHH, ah, very good sir," he usually responds.

Hahah. I would consider it.

BTW I guess they are considering banning all snacks from that school disctrict now. Maybe she should have sprayed her homework instead.

hm, under these circumstances I would bet she knew it was harmless - e.g. her parents bought that stuff because of her pets or whatever.....

who cares, they say the repellent was organic and nontoxic, it was probably healthier than the cookie. :D

Yes, and with that of all of the Volk. God gave this duty to me.

This girl is old enough o know what is right or wrong. I would not let her back into my school. She can go someplace else, I would fear for her safety at my school too. I wouldnt want anything to happen to her at recess. :)

Hmmm... in fact she did nothing but hand out cookies that taste horrible...I think banning her for that is a bit too harsh

Hmm, she was attempting to cause harm to her classmates and teacher in the guise of doing something nice and so deserves anything anyone has to throw at her :yeah:

I would never EAT a cookie from a pupil, oh no and if I was a doctor or a nurse I'd never, EVER eat any food given to me by a patient that isn't in its original wrapping ;)

It ain't worth the st-RETCH :p

If... as I assume... she knew that the stuff was nontoxic, I wouldn't really agree that she wanted to cause harm... I still think that maybe a few hours of detention would have been sufficient
