Well, it depends on the situation

If they stole $1000? I probably would deal with it myself. I would see what he used it on. If it was for some sort of evil plan, like building an evil lair for torturing people who are jerks? Then I would let it go. If not, I would take the money back.

If they murdered? It depends. Who did they murder? A random person? Someone they hated? Did they have a crafty plan? Was it obvious? Personally, if it was a vendetta against someone, and they had it covered it up so well, and it was an accident I found out, I would congratulate them.

So, no. I would not call the Police
