besides, Colombia is the biggest farm of marihuana for the US, what would the army do without it?!
its like a luxury for them :p just to keep them happy

None too. There should be an option "none" so that we can see how many people agree to that in respective to others.

If they're a threat, take them out.

So stop whining.

If the people would stop always whining about the U.S. then. :D It gets old after awhile when everyone always hates or extremely dislikes nearly everything about your country(not talking about you this time) and cannot use any facts to back up the claim. I have heard countless irrational major complaints from various sources therefore sometimes they require a refutation. The government of U.S.(as stated in the constitution) is actually one of the better not one of the worse.

Iraq will be independant as soon as possible. You may have put conquest in 'quotes' however many people do not... And 90% of the puppet state theories are ludicrious.

Why do we have to be loved by everyone?

"Why do they hate us?!"

Who cares? They drive American cars, they eat American fast food, they watch American music videos on American TV sets from satellite stations owned by an American firm. Anyone that really "hates" us has to put their money where their mouth is, and see how much they hate us then!

I don't hate the USA by any stretch of the imagination.
But I must admit I buy predominately European products.

Except for this PC of course! ;)

I never said you hated the United States, I just don't think people need to be preoccupied with our public relations when we've got more serious problems at hand.

Well, dear boy, as long as you know!

America's relations with the world is not really that high on my worry list. :D

I marked a couple, my top choice being Palestine, which in fact harbors a number of terrorist groups at which the US is at "war" and whose goals are to prolong the conflict by refusing to accept any peace that allows for an independent Israel.

Nnoe of those listed.

If you add "Tibet," "Taiwan" or "Burma".... you might get me to bite.

then you are stupid.

Definatley North Korea, Palestine, Columbia (which we are already involved in)

But only North Korea would be similar to Iraq. An involvment in Palestine would be a peace-keeping operation, something that should have happened a long time ago. And in Columbia we are trying to help a government rid itself of drug lords.

Then you have N Korea which is just like Iraq but many times worse. That would be real tough.

Invade Taiwan? Why?

What the heck? Put Americans in the Palestinian territories?

As long as we're doing stuff that'd be stupid and nearly suicidal, why don't we also give nuclear bomb technology to Mu'ammar Qadaffi?

I want to vote no to all of these - except possibly a DEFENSIVE action against North Korea.

Good thing the UK didn't decide to "take out" overseas fundraisers for the IRA a few years ago - as we'd have been landing our Royal Marines on the US East Coast .

Taiwan has a standing army of half a million men and has by far the most modern equipped forces in the region.I wouldn't worry about them with regard to China casting eyes in their direction.
"North Korea would be tough"....Just a tad.
The US would get bogged down there and one things for sure..They would fight...and bloody hard too.I'm not sure the US public would support a war there in light of their past failures in that region.
"If they're a threat take them out" should read "If we can beat them take them out".
The US as strong as it is would not engage in war with certain countries even if it saw them as a threat.Examples China,Russia.
If this is truly to be a war on terrorism there are many ways in which to do this, not always involving global conflict.

Don't bet on it.

I feel the Americans are wanting to make right past wrongs, I believe Korea might find itself on the menu.

Regardless of the fact that weapons on both side have increased in lethality in 50 years.

But the fanaticism of the NK diehards has not.

The shifting of US military personnel and bases in the South Korean region in the last few weeks, points to something going on.

I forsee war with NK this year.

China is no big fan of North Korea either. If they sensed a move by the US in this direction they might just decide to get in there first.
I still think the US people would take some persuading..especially if the 'evidence' for going to war in Iraq is found to be..not there.

If, as the Arabs state, Palestine is the source for Muslim anger towards Amerca that has made the US the second most preferred target for terror then the situation must be addressed if the overall campaign against terrorism is to succeed.
