The slave overseer production bonus seems to apply to the food production but not the fruit/furs production of slaves picking fruit and hunting game. I do not know if this is intensional.

I may very well be being stupid, but I cannot find law on the F1 screens anywhere.

Would you be so kind as to copy and paste exactly what you have in launch options? I've tried everything Mr. ZorG and Nightengale have suggested, and it still launches to the unmodded game.

I think it might be possible that I'm an idiot.

Sorry the delay, I couldn't logged-in these days.
I don't know if you were able to solve it, but just in case:

Launch Options:

"mod=\WeThePeople-4.0.1"

WTP-LaunchOptions.jpg

Where WeThePeople-4.0.1 is the name of the mod folder.
It has to be exactly the same.

WTP-ModsFolder.jpg

The mods folder is inside the game folder (where it was installed)

WTP-GameAndModsFolders.jpg

Also in the shortcut is the default name:

If you still couldn't fix it, I hope this helps!

It is. :)
It only applies to Yields that the Slaves have a Bonus Modifier for.
It is supposed to prevent exploits by having Slaves work Professions they are not intended for. (like e.g. Carpenter or Hunter).

Is it intentional that a select few professions are available from native villages but neither europe or africa? Two in this set are trapper and rice farmer.

This is outdated information. I mean it still works, but starting with 4.0.2 all you have to do is to load the mod once using any approach, including load a mod in the main menu and then the mod will tell Colonization to load WTP by default when no arguments are given.

Yes, that is intentional as well. :)
But e.g. in Port Royal you should find Rice Farmers.

I have to work on that in the Colopedia, some of the specialists you can buy in Port Royal have a Colopedia note saying that they can be purchased in Europe...
Yeah, there is a lot of gameplay information in Pedia that is simply not correct anymore ...
Problem is that too much is "written by hand" instead of generated by DLL.

I hate to sound stupid about all these changes, but can anyone summarize what wild bird feathers are used (collected) for?

Sometimes I get the overseer bonus on African slaves but not native slaves when working certain professions.
Spoiler Screenshots :

Native stonecutter, african farmer [EDIT: Actually I notice this is the lumberjack, the farmer also got the bonus], native does not get bonus:

African stonecutter, native farmer, both get bonus:

[EDIT]Of course this will be the same thing again, native slaves do not get a bonus on stone cutting?

The Slave Modifier only works if that slave already has a Bonus for that Yield.

e.g. Native Slave has no Bonus For Stone.
So you will also not get any Slave Modifier for it.

This is mainly supposed to prevent exploits.
(e.g. Trying to use Slaves for everything.)

How could I activate the OPTION "Revealed Goodies alwais have a colored circle " in a game that has already been started without having this option chosen at the beginning? Because I started a play on Scenario AmericasGigantic with Portugal but I didn't find this option to click on but I wanted to activate it (either in my save/or even, if possible, by default in all my games) I think this feature is a great help.

In civ 4 you can go into world builder, save as a scenario, then start a new custom scenario with that save and use the settings you want. It was not exactly like a save game, builds and GPP's would reset for example, and I do not know if it would work in this game.

When starting a custom scenario/map, looking at these particular 4 maps they all say they are 'random' and specifically built for WTP

So does this mean the are random when creating the map itself, like the land-mass and shape of the terrain? I am looking to play something as close to as map-script is, in other words, Im not really interested in historically accurate maps.
Also, are there any bonuses to AI when going above 'normal' difficulty and is Conquistador considered to be 'normal'? I have started a few games (just as testing maps and trying to figure out new features of the mod) and on the Governor difficulty the AI players are getting substantial point advance over me, having 5-7 towns while I am at 2-3 and Natives are quite restless and really, really swamping my territories

The Shape and Base Terrains are fixed, but the Terrain Features, Players, Goodies, Bonus Resources, Start Locations, ... is all randomized.

AI always plays on "Exporer" unless you change that in Custom Game / Custom Scenario

If you already played previous releases of WTP "Conquistador" should be just fine for WTP 4.0.x.
If you are completely new to WTP then maybe give "Explorer" a try fist to allow you to learn all the features of WTP 4.0.x. :dunno:

Thanks for your answers above.
Im a little confused about this - so what is then the difference in difficulty in between Explorer - Conquistador - Governor?
I do play Custom Scenario and pick a difficulty level there
