WW2 NES - Peace in our time

Why don't we all start bickering over who gets to be Japan? :)

I'd like to be a mercenary group. Blades for hire, politically independent. PM me if you're interested in our services! :) I think it'll be named The Black Katars. If that's not possible, I'd like to be Norway. (Sticking to my nation as well)

@toteone, hmm, since silver is the Gurkhas and says my plan would actually help his...could I be listed as India or an Indian rebellion?

That is possible, a mercenary group named the Black Katars. You'll be around half-division size if you only consists of elite fighters. However you may approach 5 divisions or so if your troops are more average. And of course there'll be money for all organization like the Illuminati, the Black Katars and the Vatican State (even if not every much).
Azale, ok - India it is unless you want to be an Indian rebel group. [list updated]
Silver, are you going for the Ghurkas? Because if not then Azale might want his choice back.

Yes I want Gurkhas. I can strike the blow that will cripple the British Empire. There are Gurkhas in India, Hong Kong, Africa, Brunei, Nepal, and they mostly serve in the British Army. :scan:

Doobdeepdedoop... ok so anyway Sudetenland was occupied 1-10 October '38 so that means the game starts Fall 1938 and the Spanish situation (per Wikipedia) is looking... very grim. The Republic and Nationalist Spain are two months into three-months long Battle of Ebro that may determine a Nationalist win.

PS. This will become the sign-up thread once the game gets started.

I'll join as the Nationalist Spain, since I know absolutley nothing about China

Government: (Totalitarian) Communism
Economy: 0/15
Industry: 78
Army: 150 Divisions
Navy: 50 Ships, 5 Submarines
Air Force: 10 Air Wings
Education: Poor
Culture: Very Patriotic
Confidence: Good Enough
Stability: Normal
Current Projects: 'The Great Purges' (+2 Confidence, +3 Stability) 4/8
Nation Background:
Notes: Due to 'the Great Purges' project to remove anyone that could potentially be a threat to iron man Stalin there is a serious lack of military officers in Russia.

That's... nice, but I have a lot of complaints.
1. WHERE THE HELL DID USSR GET SO MANY SHIPS?! Pardon, but I think it was more like ten, if not less.
2. The Soviet industries were much more plentiful then the German ones (more resources, more workforce, more potential and the major industrialization).
3. Education is Poor? Then why were Soviet tanks as of 1941 much better then the German ones? Education should be Educated/Well Educated instead. Soviet education was generally rising quite well in the Stalin era (free education was setting in).
4. I don't really think Great Purge should be a project... It was a series of trials. What increased stability was the deportation, actually. I think you should make that the project instead. ;)

I totall agree with das,
except maybe on one point. USSR did not indeed have many (capital) ships (i.e. ones worth mentioning), but it had around 200 submarines by June 1941.

The nation list would be nice so I can choose a nation that will be overrun in a turn or two.

Yes. Many SUBMARINES. Not ships. He separated ships from submarines already.

Does anyone have HoI here? I think it can be used for better information on armed forces of the time, especially for historically-neutral nations.

This is great dudes. I did think 50 ships was waay off, but I didn't feel like  discriminating the smaller ships. And start away with Eurasia Nonconformist. :)
This was going to be a LOT of work, but now it'll be easier and come up earlier. Thanks.
