i'm talking about the 4 channels on all american televisions, the non-cable or statlitte television. FOX, NBC, ABC or CBS. Which channel do you watch or like more. For programming I like all the networks but I like NBC's news coverage especially the 6:30 national nightly news.

ABC, I like its World News with Peter Jennings.

over here, SBS. do any of those channels have "Oz" on it, or is that a cable show? It's pretty much the only thing i'll watch on tv these days.

I voted CBS. I watch CSI and CSI: New York now and then (can't stand Miami). Sometimes I'll watch Without a Trace. Don't really watch NBC other than Apprentice. NBC has lost alot of its top shows. I also watch Lost on ABC.

CBS - see above.
Marry safer, micke walllece leslie stalls - those people and Andy Rooney tonight on 60 min. :D

ABC - Lost
NBC- used to wach the comodies but not in the past 2 or so years.
Fox - Simposons X-files - when it was on. All thoses police chase 5 shows ect...

Fox--It has the Simpsons, Arrested Development, and Malcolm in the Middle. There aren't many others shows I care to watch on a regular basis.

Those channels are all scum for the reality tv they offer, though CSI is an exception. I prefer to watch the History Channel, Discovery Channel, Spike, ESPN, FSN, FNC, and others, rarely do I watch the big 4.

ESPN...but probably CBS or ABC of the one's listed.

FOX by far.

IFC, TCM, AMC; movies, good ane bad, are what I watch on TV.

BTW, Loved your FAQ SN. :goodjob:

1. FOX - Arrested Development, The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Malcolm in the Middle and the soon to return The Family Guy.
2. NBC - Scrubs, The West Wing, ER, Crossing Jordan and The Apprentice.
3. CBS - The Amazing Race and CSI.
4. ABC - Lost. (ABC sucks.)

So, even though FOX has constantly screwed me over by cancelling shows I like (at least more so than other networks), their lineup (at least Sunday night) still rocks. But oh how I miss Futurama, Firefly and Keen Eddie.

Food Network.

I love Iron Chef, Unwrapped, Top 5, Good eats. Plus the specials they do there are pretty good.

Due to my schedule, I really only watch TV on the weekend.

Didja? Cool. He's such a nerd. But then, so am I! :D

But I have learned a lot from his show. My gravy (which was good already) got so much better because of his show.

My mom made me watch Iron chef, and it was okay at first. But I really got into it after a couple of episodes. Hope they continue the Iron Chef America.

NBC - ER, The Apprentice
Fox - That 70's Show, baseball (but usually over on FSN)
ABC - Evening news, Wheel Of Fortune & Jeopardy (not network shows)
CBS - haven't watched this channel in years...

From April-September I often watch Indians baseball on FSN. Regularly watch Seventh Heaven and Everwood on WB. Spend a lot of late night time watching The Weather Channel and Nick @ Nite. Also have the Nick Jr. shows on in the morning.

I must be a member of the spoiled minority who have cable? :p

I rarely watch most of the channels you cited, network television just doesn't do it for me. Used to watch it when I was younger, but these days I find it severely lacking in quality and content and the constant commercial breaks are extremely annoying. When one can only 'see' 19 minutes of content every 30 minutes, there is something inherently wrong with the system. I Do support Commercial advertising, but do not find any sort of correlation between the frequency of it and the quality of network programs. So I usually watch cable. I'm paying up front (mostly) instead of having to submit to commercial interruptions and the quality is Much better.

Prioritized by time, my channels are usually on:

1) History Channel (best programming on tv, least bias. Favorite show? Ha! Mail Call of course. :D
2) Discovery ~ Excellent science programming.
3) Comedy Central ~ My secret vice ;)
4) Scifi Channel ~ I wish they'd do another season of SAAB or get busy on more Battlestar Galactica mini-series'
5) Foxnews and MSNBC (roughly equal time on both. CNN has become McNews, avoid it like the plague)
6) VH1 ~ if they have a concert or flashback show. Once in a while I surf videos, but not that often.
7) HBO ~ The Sopranos.. fuhgeddaboudit!
8) Whichever network is showing the Bears, Vikings, or Packers games on the weekend. This changes.

Most of my news and current events actually comes from newspapers, magazines, and occasionally news radio. Newspapers aren't as flashy as television news, but tend to be a little less biased And when they Are biased, they are much more open about it.

To be honest, I probably spend less than 10 hours a week on average watching the tube. I usually find much more enjoyment in a good book. Lately though, the internet has been consuming more and more of my free time. Haven't really decided if that's good or bad yet..

CBS. Definitely. Survivor and The Amazing Race are some of the best shows on regular TV. I also watch the Apprentice, though.
