It does look a little big and it looks like you need to tilt it to the left a little.

my two cents

Like the color scheme. I think fins would add alot to him though.

Or perhaps a pair of "intake" ports, either extruding from the center, vertically, (one on top, one below) or extruding from the sides horizontally.

Fins? Where? Intake ports are possible.

When i rotate it a little it looks like it goes to far its perfectly flat compared to the gorund. :hmm:

EDIT: I cant really imagine fins on this one.

You mean kind of like this:

I could try that. But it might make it look to much like a 1960s sportcar ( ;) ) and might not show up at civ level.

I see. Not like the preview i just posted? Still might not show up though. And maybe i can then get rid of the civ color in th front.

Fins would look cool, but wouldn't they be a bit useless on a spaceship? Unless it has the capability to re-enter the atmosphere...

BTW: Probably a bit big, yes, but if you make too much smaller the texture will be hardly visible. Unless you were to increase the texture size.

Fins like this: (you cant really see them on the SW side)

Ill fix the size as soon as you people make up your mind about the ship.

I think the fins would be useless.

Im thiniking of making the civ color in the front slighly smaller. Would you agree?

I like that name. I was just going to call it Generic Futuristic Ship or GFS for short ;)

The shape of it is similiar to the shape of Eagle Talons(Or other birds of prey). Its shape is also Aerodynamic, which means that it could operate inside an atmosphere as well. Could be the standard fighter-craft of the 2nd Era or beyond.

I agree with you totally Vbraun on the front civ-coloring. It dominates the ship and lessens its beauty. The back civ-coloring is enough in my opinion

That race car you posted has some pretty awesome ports.....

I don't think the fins look too hot. And if you are not careful, it'll end up looking like my space interceptor.

I dont think ports would show up especially since its very dark. And techincally wouldn't need ports (like it doesnt need those fins)

What does your space interceptor look like?

Well ports (or fins) would give it a little more character, and a little more 3-d quality.

I don't know if you are a Star Trek or Star Wars fan, (can't be both),

but star Trek tends to have smooth ships shuttles etc, so they look dumb... :p

Star Wars has odd blcks and pertrusions on everything, so it make you think, "I wonder what htose are for?", but they also give depth and a more "textured" quality to the model.

My early models suffer from lack of "detail", and I notice it now. My newer ones I always try to throw on extra stuff.

It would only need the ports to intake air for the engine. Cause the Engine is some kind of futuristic thing used in space where it doesnt need air to work. And having another engine would make it look kinda weird.

Fine ill try and add the ports.
