3rd and 4th Unique Components for VP - Official thread 88.10

Were the changes made in the last version or for the next version?
 
The changes to how the rough terrain penalty works, with the damage bonuses etc have been made to the base promotions. I have not changed those promotions. The promotions are added onto the correct units in the correct way, and movement and rough/flat penalties have been linked to whatever G makes them this week. It has been this way for months now
 
Ah okay, I was playing the Celts and the text for their UU still mentioned it so I thought the changes weren't made yet.

Happy New Year folks! Glad to see you continue the project. I wanted to tell you what probably all of you know, that I will not continue modding on civ5 (I am 99,9% sure). If anyone is eager to continue my work like @pineappledan did with MUCfVP project, feel free to do that. I posted latest version of Alterantive Names: unfinished but really close to finish and hope somebody will make the final cut. Any other mods (beside Promotion Overhaul if not merged to VP is difficult to maintain with so frequent changes) are working or are fixed by beloved modders. So good luck and have fun!

One question: Is ENW and VPEE still compatible with MUCfVP? It always required some tweaks in mod files. I plan do dwonload up to date list of mods and maybe play some Civ5 after such a long time :]

Or if someone still plays mod from list posted in my signature, are tthey still compatible (f.e. CSL with UCS etc.)?

If only I had more time... You are still in great shape as I can see :) So is Gazebo. I heard half year ago he is FINISHING VP :) and tons of updates came to life.
 
I downloaded current mod list and... forgive me... that's my standard procedure. What the hell happened :)

Israel is in the process of being integrated into base VP.

use the version in this link, which should resolve those issues with Israel
The Venetian colonia no longer exists, but the Russian pogost is looking for it. I thought I had commented out those parts of the code.
 
Moi Magnus runs a multiplayer mod and has included 4UC in his latest versions of Magnus mutatio
 
So base VP starts adding new civs? Wow!

Yeah. 2 custom civs to take the total up to 45.

leugi’s Israel is going to be released with the next “stable” version of VP (there have been tons of stability/merge errors in the past month), so I have moved Israel’s 4 UC into the MUCfVP modmod. The one linked on the main page of the Israel mod is not “current”, but since the only changes were to 4UC compatibility I didn’t see fit to update it. Most people only use 1 or the other.

the 45th spot might go to the Philippines. Me and TPangolin and HungryForFood have been working on it and it’s almost set for release
 
Check rest of your civs too becuase few lines are from there and I used only yours.

Yeah, looks like the lion’s share are compatibilities with JFD’s secondary traits mod, which never really worked and I have cut out of a few custom civs already, and then the default tag error from Israel. It’s been doing that since the beginning, but doesn’t cause any in-game errors, and there doesn’t appear to be anything wrong with the code. I’ve been ignoring that one for years.

I won’t push my luck, lol. I’m perfectly content with having 2 in there as advertisements for people to check out the other modmods.
