I've noticed that I don't seem to be able to build the Monolithic Church as Ethiopia. Isn't it supposed to unlock at Theology?

There's a perfectly good explanation for that: I'm a moron.

I altered the ethiopian church buildable on stone so that it wouldn't show up in the tech tree or civopedia, but added those attributes to the improvement itself instead of the worker build action, thus I fed the computer a load of nonsense improvement attribute columns and it killed the improvement. Testing a fix now

EDIT: A fixed version has been posted. Includes fix for the Andelvaegelse as well, so it has the process modifier, same as base Agribusiness

Thanks for the quick fix, it's working now! However, I've noticed something else: It's possible to build two Monolithic Churches that are adjacent to each other if one is built on stone and the other on a featureless hill. Not sure if that's intended or just a limitation with the code but I thought I'd share just in case.

This is a small nitpick and likely not in your control; when using EUI the tooltip for Ethiopia's new UI floods the screen and isn't really usable for information.

Unfortunately, that's a thing that pops up with most of gameplay overhauls, since they introduce so much mechanics that EUI wasn't built to contain. Right clicking the image for the unit/building/improvement loads the civ fanatics screen, which is far more concise when dealing with stuff like this.
 
is it normal that russia keep the pogost lvl 2 when pogost lvl 3 is in the city or is this a bug?

Yes.
I can’t delete the base pogost and add new buildings each time because the building has a specialist slot. It’s easier and better if the incremental bonuses for each new stage of pogost are just added separately, instead of replacing the base building wholesale

Oh and this whole time I thought the new stages replace the old...I was even mulling over complaining about it :lol:
Could the description maybe change then? To me "building evolves" sounds like stage 1 becomes stage 2, which means stage 2 replaces stage 1...could it maybe say "building expands" instead?
 
also i found that the +30% from city connection is maybe too much, when i play russia, i have so much gold, i don't even know what to do with it. Having more than +2000 Gold/turn passing industrial era
 
@pineappledan , I'm assuming I should hold off on using 3/4UC until 5 moves for skirmisher line can be implemented?

Also, going to give your unit tweaks a go, but I guess those adjustments would have to be made for 3/4 UUs as well? I'll just play a game without 3/4UC (but trying the unit tweaks) for the time being.
 
Teutonic and andelvaegelse also need to be adjusted. Yes.

How does the Polish Barbican benefit off Fealty's 100% production speed to Castles/Armories? Is it still just 100%? It would be cool if it stacked to 200% because it's both buildings combined.

Also, the Pancerny feels nice with your unit tweaks modmod; I can pester around to take a hit or two, but am certainly not immune to losing the unit if not careful against knights, pikes and ranged. Mind you, they have a RCS of 19 compared to the default heavy skirmisher's 12, which is quite the gap even though they're a UU, but I wouldn't say they're necessarily overpowered.
