Choxorn, I can't open it either. I got the scenario invalid message, and then my screen blacked out. Tad!

I can load Tasslehoff's start, but your start gives me the exact same error message as Tad's.

Tasslehoff, can you load Hawk's start, and Hawk, can you load Tad's start?

Er ide love to give you another save but I just got a new comp... & it took me a while to get it running so thats my excuse for not responding for like 2 days

I think you guys have version problems, though Complete can get squirrelly with loads for no apparent reason. Load your PTW and look in the lower left corner and you will see 1.00 or 1.29 or something else. Games won't load across versions, and I think someones got a different version.

lurker's comment: I have Complete. All 3 versions come fully patched. I believe vanilla is 1.29f, PTW 1.27f, and Conquests is 1.22 (without the "f" on the end).

Tad, can you load any of our starts?

Oh, and Tasslehoff's upload loaded just fine.

It can't be version problems that's bugging us up- all of us have either Civ3 Gold or Conquests (or, in Tad's Case, both), and they both come with the 1.27f patch.

I'll wait for a majority to decide whether to play Hawk's start now or not.

Also, is it 10 turns or 5? This early in the game, I really think it should be 10. Nothing happens in 5 turns, and in 10, little enough happens that HUGE mistakes won't be made and not fixed.

I think you should play kawk's start, & I think we should play 10 turns each
because 5 turns are WAY to short
