You can have "real relationships" and go to a hooker just as you can have real friends to talk to and still go to a shrink. I agree a hooker should not be a substitute for having a relationship with a real woman anymore than CivFanatics should be a replacement for real conversation. That doesn't make either of them evil.

I disagree that the person is "reduced to meat" any more than the taxi driver you summon is meat driving a car or a massage therapist is meat rubbing your meat (heh heh, I didn't mean that pun when I started the sentence, truly I didn't ).

I'm not saying he was advocating prostitution. I'm sure he got caught in the act and made up a story. Kind of like his cheatin' momma.

So the greenhouse workers in south america and africa, producing flowers for the US and EU market (respectively) that die of pesticide exposure after 5-10 years are not being exploited?

They conciously choose to limit their lives to 10 more years, so that their children have access to an income for at least that time. They can choose to remain impoverished on a family farm with no local market (thanks to 1st world subsidies).

It is entirely possible to exploit someone without the use of force or acting against their will. People are astoundingly apt to be exploited, when short-term benefits are shiny enough.

You are speculating. Who knows, maybe she talks about philosophy and astrophysics during her pillow talk. It should be her right to use her body for whatever she wishes. Plenty of guys go to whores not just for the sex but also because they're lonely.
