I'm going to put it delicately: considering how bad your economy is, if you try to stop being a Swedish protectorate you'll be toast.

I would imagine that rescinding your protectorate status would be considered rebellion by Sweden, and resulting in them cracking down on you. Or EQ could say no, you can't leave that status.

But being a protectorate has its perks. You could be taken out on your own easily. In fact, you already have been, by Mexico in the Great War. But as a protectorate of Sweden, if you were attacked, Sweden would have to protect you.

Besides, I doubt whether the people you're trying to make alliances with are really interested. So trying to leave protectorate status isn't worth it.

Sorry I did not realize Yeman was one of your protectorites. I thought they were just another weak Sunni country that should be brought together under my banner. My grand plan is to pull all the Sunni people together so that the other Islamic off shoots could no longer pick on the people of Sunni islam. But if you dont want to realise the people or Yeman i well leave you in peace for i know you mean no harm to them and would fight to protect them and that is all i wish to do for them. So with this i well leave you in peace.
