OOC: Great update, EQ. But...Iceland=Socialist Party=Co-Axial Pact?
To: Venezuela, Cuba
From: SUSA
We view Venezuelan and Cuban intervention in Guyana as a violation of the Treaty of Wilhelmsburg. We ask you to pull troops out of the region. Otherwise, if you claim the right to intervene, the Socialist Union should also have that right.
To: Chilean Military
From: SUSA
This is unacceptable. There will be repercussions unless you end these acts against your people.
To: Parties involved in the creation of an international organization in Casablanca
From: SUSA
We will not instigate a war over this, but creating an international organization intended to promote peace while leaving the Socialist Union out is not an organization that will promote peace effectively. In fact, it may just be asking for a whole other war.
To: Socialist parties of the world
From: SUSA
The Socialist Union of South America is announcing the creation of the International Congress of Socialist Parties, the first Congress of which shall be held in the year 1946 in the city of Sao Paulo. The Congress shall discuss the new direction of Socialism after the fall of the UCNA and the end of the World Wars. Socialist Parties, Syndicalist Parties, and other parties with Socialist leanings from around the world, regardless of nation and current political relations, are welcome to attend. Ideas about Socialism may be espoused freely, and Socialist Parties will learn from the successes of others to advance the Workers' Cause across the globe. We hope that the Congress will continue into the future, if successful.
