A Brave New World Part 2

OOC: Great update, EQ. But...Iceland=Socialist Party=Co-Axial Pact?

To: Venezuela, Cuba
From: SUSA

We view Venezuelan and Cuban intervention in Guyana as a violation of the Treaty of Wilhelmsburg. We ask you to pull troops out of the region. Otherwise, if you claim the right to intervene, the Socialist Union should also have that right.

To: Chilean Military
From: SUSA

This is unacceptable. There will be repercussions unless you end these acts against your people.

To: Parties involved in the creation of an international organization in Casablanca
From: SUSA

We will not instigate a war over this, but creating an international organization intended to promote peace while leaving the Socialist Union out is not an organization that will promote peace effectively. In fact, it may just be asking for a whole other war.

To: Socialist parties of the world
From: SUSA

The Socialist Union of South America is announcing the creation of the International Congress of Socialist Parties, the first Congress of which shall be held in the year 1946 in the city of Sao Paulo. The Congress shall discuss the new direction of Socialism after the fall of the UCNA and the end of the World Wars. Socialist Parties, Syndicalist Parties, and other parties with Socialist leanings from around the world, regardless of nation and current political relations, are welcome to attend. Ideas about Socialism may be espoused freely, and Socialist Parties will learn from the successes of others to advance the Workers' Cause across the globe. We hope that the Congress will continue into the future, if successful.

I'm changing to Venezuela, if you guys don't mind. Denmark is not exactly on a great moment, and is surely doomed, since the French don't attempt to give us a chance at peace.

It surely was great to lead the Danish people in this game.

OOC: I do so hope that the NGO I've been wanting to play is in that list of NGO's you plan to let enter the game. ^_^ but even if it's not, this is still such a great NES and looking forward to reading so many more updates in it. keep up the good work EQ!

To: The French Nation
From: The Free Republic of India

The time of complete French domination in India is over but we are willing to discuss a peaceful resolution to our war.

To: EQandCivfanatics
From: The Supervisor

Hello. I liked the update but my stability was 8 last turn and it has dropped to 5 this turn. I don't know why this is and the update does not mention how this happened. Could you or someone else please explain why this happened for me? Thank you.

To: New France
From: China

We have only just noticed the truly desperate situation our brothers-in-arms against the Communists are in economically. Having had our nation ravaged by Communist hordes at one point, we can relate and we understand your needs. Please allow us lend you 4 EP so you may improve your situation as soon as possible.

Too bad the Immigrant is banned across Canada for Quebecois embellishment err... Violence.:)

@Slim_Shady: I redid The Immigrant a little bit, because I felt it'd be more appropriate to start out as a book before becoming a best selling movie(s).

@The Supervisor: I'm not sure what happened there. I think I may have gotten carried away when dropping someone else's stability and you got caught in the crossfire. I will fix it with the next update.

From: France

We still do not recognize SUSA as the legitimate governing body of Brazil. As such we cannot in good conscience invite you to the formation of this body.

To: India
From: France

You have no legitimacy and are still unfit to govern yourselves. We will put down this insignificant uprising, and you will be lucky if you turn out the better for it. We are not vengeful but we shall not let your actions go unanswered.

To France
From England:

If the French have no intent on offering a civilized peace treaty we wonder whether they will ever get around to the mans business of invading our little slice of earth, or perhaps they just aren't man enough to come fight?

To China

The loan is certainly appreciated, but before we accept it, what are you looking to get out of it? What is the interest if we are paying it back?

The Louisianan Navy has been seized by Cuban marines, as they are given refuge by the government there.
OOC: And another one bites the dust. Cuba so reminds me of early 19'th century English naval policy. Great update!

Lovely crunchy statistics Bombshoo!
Wow, you were right about peace being incredibly valuable Crezth! +2 stab. for all Axis and all colonies in the whole world ^^... ah... no massive attempts at decolonization for another fifty years.

To: Iraq, Virginia
From: Arabistan

The current situation in Iraq is not ideal, and we would like to see a quick solution. As such, we are willing to provide a military buffer between Iraqi and Virginian forces on the ground to allow for some negotiation of peace. We are also interested in playing a part in a peace that provides for an Iraq that has greater independence from Virginian control.

OOC: EQ, would you remove the research and bank it back into EP please? I realize I should have properly specified my project, and that it was too expensive, but I'd rather not commit my entire year's net profit to the research part of it which I didn't realize was so expensive.

To France from Switzerland
Please note our confidential diplomatic proposal.

To China from Switzerland
Upon further deliberation we have decided to offer you the mutual exchange of students and Switzerland's recent research in return for the same price that was offered to another potential client. Please note our confidential diplomatic proposal.

Then you are not committed to creating a more peaceful world. If you were, you'd either recognize the legitimacy of the SUSA or let us in not in relation to you but in relation to our status in the rest of the world. We're here. Might as well work with us.

For a minor fee of 1 EP from any two countries Switzerland will be more than willing to shuttle unofficial communication in any event, shape or form, between any meetings, governments and officials that hate each other.

Us? We are the harbingers of peace, we are its greatest advocates. Part of a lasting peace means not supporting a belligerent nation that seeks - what was it? - worldwide revolution. And recognition is a form of support. Your isolation protects you, cozy in South America, but there is a whole world beyond those waves and jungles. And they want nothing to do with you.
