A Brave New World Part 2

Virginia does not have the right to dictate who may and who may not step foot on New Jerseyan soil. No French, no deal.

New Jersey's insolence is not acceptable. She has been a free nation for naught 5 years, and has caused more damage to the security and safety of North America than her neighbor who has existed for centuries.

We are not dealing with New Jersey on this matter, we are dealing with France. Once an agreement has been made with France, then New Jersey will be informed. Until then, mind your place.

From: Sébastien "Bras-de-Fer" Bonpense (Leader of the Devils)
To: Virginia

On behalf of the silenced New Jerseyan government, I must show my displeasure of Virginia's proposal. Blah, blah, blah, random talking....

2.) Pennsylvania will pay the Democratic Republic of New Jersey 70 EP in reparations. This will be used to rebuild the military, industry, and infrastructure of the Democratic Republic of New Jersey, as well as cover investments by foreign nations.

More pointless talk.

You New Jerseyians, always telling jokes.

4) The Delaware River shall be a zone free of any type of military ships from any signatory of this treaty.

This is one of our troubles with your proposed peace. Seeing how the Delaware River is the only waters that Pennsylvania borders, this can not go into effect. Otherwise our navy would have no use. We must be able to protect our shipping from New Jersey, as they have a long history of destroying/harrasing it. The Delaware River will remain a free trade zone, and Pennsylvanian military ships will sail on it. However, they will stay to our side of the river, as long as any New Jersey military ships stay on thier side.

Also, point 3 is really impossible, unless New Jersey agrees to the same thing for their border.

I lol'd. Hard.

Virginia might see this as acceptable, with one exception: point 5. While we can agree that, yes, the Treaty of Rome is now not enforceable, we wish to still use it as a template towards future negotiations. As such, we hope the French can see that such an agreement is a direct threat to not only Pennsylvania, but New England, Canada, and Virginia as well.

France possesses territory in all other corners of the globe. We hope the French Empire lasts a thousand years. But we do not want to see North America become her playground again.

As such, we propose that New Englander troops be allowed to station in New Jersey, not French

We understand your concern, however such a bold proposal must be accepted by New England. We will allow our garrison to have a cap at 30 Infantry Brigades if that is acceptable to Virginia. We will also allow the ten-year limit if and only if it is stipulated that, upon the conclusion of ten years, the signatories are given the option of renewing the treaty as a whole.

We would agree to this.

The Virginian government has announced that, in order to finally bring peace in Louisiana and stability back to North America, she will be committing a small expeditionary force to help the Texan army in bringing security back to the Louisianans.

This update may take some time, and therefore I'll be giving another day to any NEW orders which are submitted, no revisions. The Christmas rush of crime is making my job take longer and I'll be rather busy over the next few days. Once more I apologize for not being reliably on hand to answer questions, but given a few more weeks, with the launch of 2.2, things should be a bit easier on all of us. In the mean time, I give you the 1948 Olympic Games.

Ah, Appalachia is still doing fine in Auto-Racing. Glad to know my years of investment into that field have remained a tradition in Georgia.

Update may or may not be done tonight. This is the no more orders of any kind allowed part of the updating process. I will however request a political cartoon, since I believe it has been a while since we've had one.

Going away till the new year orders for this update are already sent but if theres another one after that but before i return just NPC me
